Key Responsibilities
Taking full ownership of a mixed caseload of housing disrepair files, from pre-litigation through to trial and settlementPreparing, drafting, and responding to interlocutory applications with confidence and precisionWorking closely with Counsel, providing clear, structured briefs and instructions when requiredRunning cases independently, ensuring effective strategy, cost control, and successful outcomesHandling both straightforward and complex matters across the small claims, fast track, and multi-track spectrumAbout You as a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner
You will bring proven housing disrepair experience, with the technical ability to run a caseload with minimal supervisionA strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and housing conditions case law is essentialDriven and commercially aware, you thrive under pressure while maintaining exceptional client care standardsConfident in hitting and exceeding targets without compromising qualityA skilled communicator with excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, and a natural telephone mannerCollaborative yet self-sufficient, you can work seamlessly within a team as well as independentlyPassionate about delivering results and maintaining the trust and confidence of clients throughout the claims processWhat’s on Offer
