We have a current opportunity for a Senior to assist one of our clients on a National Grid substation project in Melksham

* 6-month initial contract
* Working on National Grid substation project
* Hybrid role - 3 days on site
* Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities:
* Needed for number crunching, look at cost forecasting, taking costs, look at programmes
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
* Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
* Dealing with subcontractors
* Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
* Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
* Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
* Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
Client requirements:
* Proven experience as Senior QS
* Strong NEC (4) knowledge
* Previously worked for Tier 1 contractor
* Previously worked on relevant project desirable - OHL/substations/utilities/nuclear/water etc
* Experience in live project setting
* Can use initiative and self-starter
