This is a long-term opportunity with at least 4 years of work on this framework, offering stability and career progression.

    You'll be based in the office in Lancashire, working closely with a team of QSs across both transmission and distribution portfolios. While office presence is valued there is flexibility for 1 day WFH per week.

    Requirements:
    * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in power, utilities, infrastructure, or related sectors.
    * Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial management.
    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Role Overview: The Senior SHEQ Advisor will lead all Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality activities on a high-voltage cable route project. This role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, client standards, and project-specific SHEQ plans, while promoting a strong safety culture across the site.

    Key Responsibilities include: Develop, implement, and monitor SHEQ plans, risk assessments, and method statements for cable installation works. Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations; ensure corrective actions are implemented. Provide expert advice on CDM Regulations, HV cable safety, and environmental compliance. Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain SHEQ standards. Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions to promote best practices.
