Our skilled Technicians, Mechanics, Fabricators and Engineers work together every step of the way to design, build and run elite competition cars on the track and off-road across the globe.Having just claimed victory at Dakar, the Dacia Sandrider team have an exciting opportunity for a Sub Assembly Technician to join them in their quest to continue their success and win the World Rally Raid Championship in the FIA Ultimate T1+ category. A hands-on role working with a team of Technicians, you will coordinate the department’s day to day workload, supervising the Sub Assembly team on event and at the factory. Worldwide travel is an essential part of this role and can be up to 3 weeks per event.Key responsibilities:Maintain and oversee all sub-assemblies including gearbox and differentialEnsure all lifeing records are maintained and updated throughout the event yearSupport on all events as needed, providing sub assembly and car build support for Dakar and Cross-Country eventsEnsure that the assemblies & vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken to prevent any form of damage being caused to themEnsure all problems are reported through to engineering or the management team as necessary Who are we looking for?Our ideal candidate will have a previous experience in a similar Sub Assembly role within Motorsport.
