When it comes to belonging, there truly is no place like Principality. We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to provide senior technical leadership within our IT function. This role is focused on technical leadership, standards, and execution. You will work handson as part of a multidisciplinary team, designing and evolving platforms that enable teams to build, test, and deploy software securely, reliably, and with minimal friction. You will play a key role in shaping how platform capabilities are designed, adopted, and evolved, acting as a technical authority and senior escalation point while contributing directly through engineering work. What youll be doing Technical leadership & standards Provide technical leadership for platform engineering, setting and evolving standards, patterns, and paved roads for software delivery. Lead by example through handson engineering, architectural input, and technical decisionmaking. Act as a senior escalation point for complex platform, CI/CD, and environmentrelated issues. Platform engineering (internal product mindset) Design, build, and operate platform capabilities as an internal product, with a strong focus on developer experience, selfservice, and repeatability. Provide shared tooling, workflows, and automation that reduce cognitive load for delivery teams. Continuously improve the platform based on adoption, feedback, and delivery outcomes. Cloud, DevOps & automation Design and operate CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and environment management across the delivery lifecycle. Provide strong technical leadership in Azure, ensuring platform capabilities are secure, scalable, and aligned to enterprise standards. Define and evolve platform capabilities using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, to ensure consistency, auditability, and resilience. Roadmap & collaboration Contribute to the platform engineering roadmap, balancing immediate delivery needs with longerterm platform evolution. Work closely with delivery teams, infrastructure, security, and governance functions to ensure the platform enables fast, safe change. What youll bring
    Wed love to hear from you if you have: Strong experience operating as a senior or lead platform / DevOps / SRE engineer. Proven ability to lead through execution, making sound technical decisions and unblocking teams. Handson experience with Azure in an enterprise environment. Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD and DevOps tooling. Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform. Experience supporting the full software delivery lifecycle, including nonfunctional requirements such as security, availability, scalability, and reliability. Experience contributing to or building internal developer platforms, selfservice environments, or paved roads. Exposure to OutSystems and/or MuleSoft (desirable but not essential). Working closely with the Internal Audit Manager and the Head of Internal Audit, you will play a key role in protecting the organisations assets, reputation and longterm sustainability. This is a handson role, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and endtoend audit delivery within a regulated financial services environment. Key Responsibilities Planning Digital, Dynamic and RiskLed Support dynamic risk assessment and audit planning aligned to strategy, regulation and risk profile. Were looking for an ambitious Data Protection Analyst to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract, who can provide advice, assistance and oversight to the organisation in respect of Data Protection matters and promote responsible Data Protection practices. What Youll Be Doing Providing risk-based advice, assistance and oversight on Data Protection matters, promoting Data Protection by Design and ensuring Data Protection and privacy issues are considered at the outset of new projects, products and initiatives. Developing and embedding a culture of responsible Data Protection practice through training and regular communications. Undertaking Data Protection Impact Assessment screenings and other standard risk mitigation activities, making recommendations to business areas to strengthen controls and providing oversight implementation of these controls. Maintaining the Record of Processing Activities under guidance from senior team colleagues, ensuring all entries have a clear basis for processing, and provide advice to first line teams to allow customers to exercise their enhanced rights.
