    Our client is looking for an experienced MIG welder/ fully skilled fabricator to join their expanding team.

    Afternoon Shift 14.00 - 22.00 Mon - Fri 


    JOB PURPOSETo report to the fabrication Manager
    To MIG weld steel upto 15mm
    To read all engineering drawings 
    To weld in all positions 

    Fully skilled in fabrication and MIG Welding

    THE Plater WelderCANDIDATE:

    Ability to MIG Weld and Fabricate to a High Standard

    The ability to weld in all positions including overhead 

    Highly skilled apprentice-trained fabricator who can read engineering drawings and cope with varied jobs and materials.

    More than 3 years industry experience welding and fabricating mid to heavy gauge mild steel 

    Candidate should be able to work on their own initiative.

    Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Engineer:
    Full responsibility for the maintenance, operation, and performance of the automated production line. Lead all preventative and reactive maintenance Oversee the on-shift team during production; provide leadership, support, and direction. Supervise and work with shift leaders who carry out first-line maintenance, changeovers, and routine checks. Take the lead on more complex breakdowns and repairs (. gearboxes, conveyors, bearings). Ensure compliance with hygiene and H&S standards. Support a professional, safe, and efficient culture on the shop floor.
    Experience & Skills Required: Maintenance Engineer:
    A strong background with the maintenance of machinery that would be found in an FMCG environment Strong mechanical engineering skills (conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics); basic electrical knowledge an advantage. Proven experience in fault finding, strip-down, and repair of production machinery. Knowledge of bottling/packaging lines or transferable industries (. food, beverage, confectionery, or FMCG - Preferred). Experience managing a team of people Hands-on approach — able to step in and run/repair machinery where required. Professional attitude
    Salary & Benefits: Lead Maintenance Engineer
