What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience as an IT/Technology Category Specialist in a Procurement function. In addition you will possess: •    Recent experience of having undertaken Tech procurements with a value in excess of £5m.
    •    A track record in developing category strategies; using market analysis to drive options and recommendations
    •    Experience managing supplier negotiations across different categories of spend 
    •    Strong influencing and communication skills
    •    Demonstrable experience leading on the delivery of project milestones
