    Hours of Work: Bank worker – hours will be varied: hours to be between 9am - 5pm Monday – Friday as required.Location: Home based with travel around the Birmingham area. 

    (Applicants should live in the Birmingham area; have a full driver’s licence and access to their own transport.)

    Please note: You will be expected to be take a flexible approach and potentially could be expected to commute outside of your specified borough. This commute would be covered within our Milage rate within our policy. Due to the requirements of this role we are happy to also consider applications from outside of the posted location.
    Salary:  £12.60 per hour

     Independent Advocate Requirements:Strong communication and time management skills to successfully work remotely.Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn software packages such as client management databases.Attention to detail to ensure accurate recording of records and reporting to meet tight deadlines.Desirable: Previous experience in advocacy, information and advice, or a similar role within health, social care, or the voluntary sector.Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults.Working knowledge of public and voluntary organisations.

    As a Secure & Complex Services Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable adults with life difficulties and health problem that impacts their functioning to be able to often speak up for themselves. profound and multiple needs. Your tasks will include providing persuasive verbal and supporting, empowering clients to have their views and wishes heard, written representations, working in partnership with clients and professionals, and representing individuals’ needs and preferences. You will handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and work independently with robust time management skills.
