We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to take a leading role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring financial integrity across the business. The Role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will provide financial oversight, deliver insightful reporting, and support key business strategies to drive performance and efficiency. As a senior leader, you will work closely with the Managing Director and the Senior Leadership Team to evaluate performance, project profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring effective cash flow management and fund deployment. Partner with Commercial and Operational Teams to provide financial leadership and insight. Drive the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process. Ensure financial statements maintain integrity, aligning with internal controls and audit processes. Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts and performance reports. Oversee the statutory audit process and implement compliance controls. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six finance professionals. Work with the leadership team to establish strong financial governance and controls.
What We’re Looking For: Essential: Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA). Experience in a similar senior financial role. Strong commercial and operational finance awareness. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience in a fast-paced start-up/scale-up environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to automate processes and enhance reporting systems.
