    Interim IT Finance Manager - Insurance - IT Finance, FinOps, Portfolio Spend

    Urgent IT Finance Manager with insurance background needed at a key point of transformation within a Specialty Insurer's technology function. Sitting within ITLT, you will take ownership of the financial governance of a £25-30m IT budget across a complex multi-entity environment, bringing greater control, transparency & financial discipline to technology spend.

    You will work closely with the CIO, IT Leadership Team, Finance & PMO to improve processes, manage cloud & technology costs, & support the rollout of a new finance system.

    Initial 6-month contract at £900-£1,100/day Inside IR35 (with potential to convert to permanent) & on a hybrid working policy.

    Responsibilities:Own financial governance of a £25-30m IT budget including budgeting, forecasting & reportingEstablish & manage cloud financial operations (FinOps) & cost optimisation processesDevelop & manage IT cost allocation across multiple business entitiesOversee procurement-to-pay, invoicing controls & vendor financial governanceAct as financial lead for IT project portfolio & PMO spend
    Requirements:Experience managing IT / technology budgets within a complex organisationBackground in IT Finance, Technology Finance Business Partnering or IT Financial Control within InsuranceStrong understanding of cloud & on-prem technology cost modelsAdvanced Excel & experience with finance or P2P/S2P systems (e.g. Proactis, Anaplan, Ivalua)Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders

    A leading organisation within the specialist insurance market is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a modernisation programme focused on upgrading a core underwriting system for a specialist business line. This will be the first phase of a wider modernisation initiative, so the successful candidate must be experienced in working with legacy systems, translating complex technical concepts, & collaborating closely with technical teams. Operating within an Agile delivery environment, the Business Analyst will take full ownership of business requirements & the project backlog, acting as the key interface between business stakeholders & technology teams. This is a delivery-focused role supporting system modernisation, process improvement, & successful adoption across the underwriting function.
