About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and professional Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join a growing maintenance team. This is a mobile role covering mainly schools, and light commercial sites across London.
The successful candidate will be experienced, reliable, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while working independently in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Domestic gas boiler breakdowns, fault finding, and parts replacementGas safety inspections and certificationDomestic boiler installations and full boiler swapsInstallation of cylinders, pipework, pumps, and valvesPower flushing of heating systemsDomestic heating and hot water wiringY-Plan and S-Plan systemsHive and smart control conversions
Confident working within commercial plant rooms when requiredMaintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer careAccurate completion of job reports using PDA/mobile systems
Essential Requirements
Gas Safe Registered – DomesticStrong experience in domestic heating and plumbingGood working knowledge of commercial plant roomsCompetent with pumps, valves, and system upgradesClean DBS check (essential – work carried out in schools)Full UK driving licenceComfortable driving and working across LondonProfessional appearance and attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a team
