I'm currently working with a growing, forward-thinking Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy based in Stoke-on-Trent, who are looking to bring in a capable and ambitious Civil Engineer – ideally someone with 2+ years’ experience.
This is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of projects and play a key role in the development of a civils team within a company that values innovation, collaboration, and autonomy.
The Role
As Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll be working across a variety of infrastructure and development schemes – taking projects from planning through to construction. This includes:
Designing drainage networks to S104 standards and liaising with local water authoritiesPreparing SUDS strategies and Flood Risk AssessmentsDesigning residential roads to S38 and S278 standardsModelling drainage systems using MicroDrainage or similarOverseeing production and QA of technical drawings and engineering documentationLiaising with planners, clients, and local authoritiesMentoring junior team members (if senior level)

What They're Looking For
HNC, BEng or similar in Civil EngineeringStrong technical understanding of UK drainage and highways design standardsProficiency in MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and Microsoft OfficePrevious consultancy experience (ideally in residential or commercial developments)Full UK Driving LicenceGood communicator and confident engaging with clients and authorities
