    This steel fabrication company based in Tonbridge in Kent have a requirement for an experienced Steel fabrication technician to join their small team. With 7 in the design team and 12 in the workshop (15 out on site) they are a fabricator who design, fabricate, deliver and install steel works of both a structural and architectural nature.

    They are seeking to employ an experienced technician using either Tekla software who is comfortable working on both architectural and structural steel projects, liaising with architects, developers and end users to deliver accurate drawings and models to facilitate the fabrication of the steels.

    They are a busy fabricator and the incoming technician must have good communication skills (Both oral and written), have experience of taking control of projects and be confident they can deliver effective solutions. You will need to be able to drive to secure this role.

    An outstanding opportunity with a 90 strong top tier structural consultancy in Central London has opened up and is shortlisting in the near future. They are looking for an experienced Junior Building Structures Engineer to join one of their dedicated building structures teams. 

    You will be joining a team who has been established for more than a decade and is headed up by one of the founding directors who is FIStructE and very supportive of all members of their team. You will be operating as a design engineer on a range of building structures projects including stadia, hotels, multi-storey residential structures and artistic installations. Once you are established within the team they are very good at giving their design engineers responsibility on projects and developing them to project engineers.

    As well as designing using all traditional materials (using hand calcs and design software) you will also be attending site meetings, design meetings and liaising with contractors as directed by the senior members of the team.

    To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will have an outstanding academic background (2:1 or better MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering) and at least 12 months experience working with a UK based structural consultancy working on similar style projects as a design/graduate engineer.
