Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Oncology Pharmacist to join the multidisciplinary within this Oxford Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role as a Medicines Management Lead, ensuring the safe, effective, and high-quality use of medicines across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering expert clinical care and pharmaceutical advice to a various parts of the hospital including, pre-assessment clinics, outpatient departments, wards and theatresOffer specialist pharmaceutical advice to clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsContribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and promote best practice in medicines optimisationSupport safe and effective prescribing, administration, and monitoring of medicinesProvide high-quality clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients
Requirements:
GPhC RegistrationProven post-qualification experience in a clinical or Hospital pharmacy settingBackground in oncology pharmacyExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
