This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining and developing quality and compliance systems, ensuring the business continues to operate to the highest industry standards. Working across multiple sites, you will take ownership of quality management systems, lead internal and external audits, and drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation. This role would suit someone with previous experience managing BRCGS and ISO standards within a manufacturing or production environment who enjoys working collaboratively with different departments to maintain exceptional quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain BRCGS, ISO and FSC accreditation across the business. Ensure all quality systems, policies and procedures remain compliant with current legislation and industry standards. Keep all compliance documentation accurate, up to date and audit ready. Support and mentor the Quality Officer, providing day-to-day guidance where required. Plan and conduct internal audits across BRCGS, ISO and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Lead customer, regulatory and third-party audits. Investigate non-conformances, carry out root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions. Conduct compliance risk assessments and implement improvement plans. Analyse quality trends alongside the Production team and identify training opportunities. Deliver compliance and quality training to employees. Promote a positive culture focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement. Work closely with Production, Operations and HR to embed quality procedures across the business. Support supplier assurance activities and maintain accurate product specifications and compliance records. Produce KPI reports and present compliance performance to senior management. About you Previous experience within a Compliance or Quality Management role in manufacturing or production. Strong working knowledge of BRCGS standards and ISO management systems. Experience leading internal and external audits. Excellent understanding of compliance, quality assurance and regulatory requirements. Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across all levels of the business. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Desirable Lead Auditor qualification (BRCGS or ISO). Previous experience within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
