    Pembrook Resourcing are searching for a Vehicle Technician (mechanic) to join our client, a well renowned dealership.

    Benefits:

    ● Above market salary up to £60,000/annum (Including bonus/overtime)

    You'll use your proven previous experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic to service, diagnose, maintain, and repair customers' vehicles to the highest standard.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ● Diagnose and repair issues with customer vehicles.

    ● Plan and schedule repair procedures.

    ● Explain to customers the work recommends/completed

    ● Test functionality of vehicle parts and systems

    ● Perform vehicle service & maintenance tasks (e.g oil changes, tyre rotation) ● Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service. ● Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.

    You will need:

    ● At least 2 years experience within a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic role

    ● Have a minimum of Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Certification

    ● Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance

    ● A full UK driving licence

    ● Working knowledge and understanding of diagnostic tools

    Our client's workshop is expanding and are looking to hire a vehicle technician to join the team. You should have demonstrated experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic with cars and light trucks. You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.



    LCV Responsibilities;



    - Perform basic services and maintenance tasks such repairs to customers vehicles.

    - Willingness to learn with hands-on training.

    - Help keep repair shop clean and organized.

    - Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.

    - Completing all necessary paperwork accordingly.

    LCV Requirements;

    - MOT Preparation / Presentation

    - Previously worked on Light commercial vehicles in a dealership environment (preferred but not necessary)

    - Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.

    - Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    - Ability to use the diagnostic equipment (further training provided)

    - Valid driving licence.

    - NVQ/City & Guilds certifications required (Equivalent certifications can be accepted to a level 3 standard)

    The ideal Service Advisor -



    Previous experience in a service role is preferred.
    A passion to deliver a high standard of customer service.
    An organised individual who can deal with many duties on the move.
    Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
    Administration skills, be able to use computers with confidence and the ability to organise and prioritise work.


    Service Advisor key responsibilities -



    Establish rapport with and provide outstanding care to the customer
    Identify and anticipate ways in which you can help the customer and achieve sales targets by selling technician labour and products
    Book in customer vehicles for servicing, with the objective of maximising labour utilisation and efficiency
    Arrange alternative transport for the customer (courtesy cars where possible) and liaise with drivers regarding pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles
    Manage and follow up all work in progress on customer vehicles; liaise regularly with the customer and Workshop Controller (and Technicians as required) to meet pre-arranged time frames.
    Ensure the customer understands the service charges what work will be or has been carried out involve technical advisers to answer queries where necessary

    Your day will include:

    Demonstrating the most suitable options to the customer, understanding, and adapting to their buying strategy and encouraging them to experience the product through test drives.
    Agreeing the price and payment method and any finance arrangements with the customer direct, working within company guidelines.
    Positively participating in training and development opportunities to assist the Group in achieving its aims and objectives.
    Liaising with Sales Administration to ensure product availability fits with customer's expectations, places the order, updates customer records and schedules any complementary Services/additional work to be completed on the vehicle before the delivery date.
    Ensuring that each delivery is followed up with a personal call to check the customer is happy. Maintains contact with customers to build relationships and future business.
    Planning and organising own daily selling activity - for example by telephoning sales prospects (previous/existing customers or general enquiries) to obtain new business.
    Works with colleagues and other teams across the dealership to provide a seamless service to customers.
