    Your Role You will play a key role in the effective planning, execution, and monitoring of team activities to optimise performance within designated timeframes. Key responsibilities include conducting weekly review meetings to assess progress, updating action lists to ensure accountability, and analysing team performance to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will draft and publish work schedules and preparing job packs, while also maintaining preventive maintenance schedules to ensure operational efficiency.

    You will be responsible for the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and address any operational challenges that may arise. This involves not only setting measurable goals but also implementing strategies to achieve them. The focus will be on ensuring the integrity and longevity of mechanical, electrical, and civil assets within the business unit, which is essential for maintaining high operational standards and minimizing downtime.

    What you'll bring You will have experience in leading multi-functional engineering teams in heavy industry or manufacturing. You will have knowledge of regulations such as DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, and COSHH, and have experience with risk assessments and producing Root Cause Analysis documentation. Excellent communication skills are essential for building relationships with stakeholders.

    Key qualities include strong analytical and organisational skills for assessing team performance and managing schedules, as well as advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel for reporting and data analysis. Previous experience in budget management, auditing, and motivating team members is also beneficial. An initiative-taking problem-solving attitude and technical aptitude are crucial for enhancing operational effectiveness and achieving team goals.

    Are you excited by the opportunity to support a wide range of projects at all stages of the development life cycle, from Pre-Construction through to Procurement, Construction and Handover? Are you excited by the opportunity to lead and develop a centralised reporting structure and process for all Group Projects? We are seeking a Project Controls Manager to join our team at the Port of Liverpool, and help us keep the world moving! Your Role

    In this role you will lead the department on the application of specific Project Controls methods, techniques and tools. You will work closely with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers to ensure projects accurately report their current progress, spend, and changes in period against approved project baseline. You will advise on and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively, taking a lead role on creating plans and analysing trends using numerical and statistical data. You will check project controls inputs, recoding and reports produced, acting as the subject matter expert and staying up to date with key industry trends. What you'll bring

    You will ideally have previous experience working within the construction industry as either client, main contractor or specialist contractor. You will have excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with large sets of statistical and numerical data. With previous experience of SAP, and other finance software, you will have strong report writing skills. With a good knowledge of the various stages of the project life cycle along with an understanding of project estimating, change control and risk management and proficient use of Microsoft Office, you will have demonstrable experience of compiling monthly Project Reports. We are seeking an experienced Electrician to work at our Greenock site and be part of a team which keeps the world moving! Your Role

    As an Electrician, you join the Clydeport Engineering Department, based at the Greenock Ocean Terminal, to safely and effectively complete planned and reactive maintenance work, ensuring all electrical equipment is compliant with current standards and legislation, with zero defects to maximise customer satisfaction. You will work towards appointed authorised person for HV and LV systems as per the Peel Ports Electrical Safety Management Systems You will use fault finding diagnostic equipment to ensure the reactive maintenance impact is minimised as well as resolving unplanned failures in a timely manner to meet reliability targets, proposing tactical solutions to ensure activities stay on schedule. You will expand your skills to become multi skilled in mechanical and electrical engineering to contribute to the ongoing success of the team. This role will be shift based. What you'll bring

    Youll have experience of maintaining heavy plant and machinery and be used to working effectively in a critical and busy environment. You will ideally have experience using fault finding diagnostic equipment, with strong fault finding skills. You must be willing to work at heights, understand work systems and accident reporting with a commitment to maintaining Health and Safety standards. Previous High Voltage and Three Phase experience is desirable, whilst predominantly based at Greenock travel to other sites within the cluster to provide cover may be required on occasion.
