    Power Platform Engineer, London, Permanent Join Pay.UK as a Power Platform Engineer and help build and support practical Microsoft Power Platform solutions in an organisation at the centre of UK retail payments. This is a role for someone who enjoys turning business needs into reliable applications, automations and reporting tools that people use every day. You'll work in a setting where scale is real and clear. The UK's retail payment systems process 11 billion transactions worth over £10 trillion annually. Here, your work sits within an organisation that maintains services the country relies on, while giving you scope to deepen your technical skills in Power Platform and work closely with colleagues across the business. Accountabilities Build and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate flows and Power BI solutions that support internal processes and business reporting. Translate business requirements into clear technical designs, user stories and workable Power Platform solutions. Configure and manage Dataverse data structures, connections and environment settings to support secure and reliable delivery. Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and other business systems where required. Test applications, automations and dashboards, resolve defects and improve performance before and after release. Prepare technical documentation, release notes and user guidance so solutions are clear to support and easy to use. Monitor live solutions, investigate issues and deliver fixes that minimise disruption for colleagues and business operations. Work with stakeholders, delivery teams and technology colleagues to plan releases, prioritise updates and keep solutions aligned with business needs. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Strong understanding of access control, security and governance principles, including role-based access control, row-level security, column-level security and the use of Entra ID groups and roles. Experience building and supporting business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, including apps, workflows and reporting. Translating user requirements into technical designs, configured solutions and release documentation. Experience working with Dataverse, data models, connectors and permissions within the Power Platform. Testing, troubleshooting and supporting live Power Platform solutions, including diagnosing and resolving production issues. Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, explain solutions and support adoption.
