About the role This service is a beautiful house with lovely gardens, situated in Cheddar and is home to 13 people we support - 10 in the main house, and 3 in self-contained flats. The people we support here tend to be older and have varying needs. This role will include supporting people through the night along side a second member of staff who would be doing a sleep in. Tasks include: checking on people through the night an providing support, doing laundry, ironing, general cleaning, helping with paperwork, ensuring everything is ready for there day in the morning! Every night, you'll help create a safe, calm, and comforting environment for the people we support. Your role will include: Carrying out regular “keeping safe checks” to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable. Maintaining a clean, hygienic space so that the environment is welcoming and safe. Recording important information using our easy-to-use IT systems - from support plans to health and safety logs - so we can provide the best care possible. Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing throughout the night. Supporting people to enjoy their late evenings or nights in ways that matter to them. Providing personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect. About you To succeed in this role, you need to be honest, creative and able to have fun, have good initiative and common sense.
