Working as part of a 2-person crew, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient cleaning of gully (drains) across Plymouth as part of the Council’s term maintenance contract. This is a vital role in maintaining the city’s drainage infrastructure, helping to prevent flooding and ensure road safety for all users. Operate gully emptying vehicles and associated equipment to clean and maintain roadside drainage assets. Work from scheduled routes and respond to ad-hoc requests as required. Accurately record completed work using handheld devices or paper logs. Carry out basic vehicle checks and report defects.
