OverviewWe are seeking an Analyst to join a Chief of Staff team supporting a global Data Engineering function within a leading financial services organization. The team is responsible for enabling secure, scalable, and high-quality data access across the firm to support business decision-making, regulatory compliance, and advanced analytics.Data Engineering operates as part of the Core Engineering division, acting as the central platform for data publishing, governance, and consumption. The group partners closely with internal business units, technology teams, and external regulatory stakeholders to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across the enterprise.The Chief of Staff team plays a critical operational and strategic support role, working directly with senior leadership to drive execution across workforce management, governance, financial oversight, and internal communications.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkforce & Vendor ManagementManage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding of employees and contingent workers through enterprise vendor management systems, ensuring compliance and operational efficiencyOversee contingent workforce governance, including approvals, staffing alignment, and budget trackingCoordinate internal and cross-departmental transfers of contingent workers to support optimal resource allocationSupport background check tracking and onboarding readiness to ensure timely placement of contingent staffMaintain workforce allocation systems and ensure data accuracy for reporting and planning purposesData & Systems GovernanceMaintain and perform regular quality checks on organizational hierarchy and reporting structures within internal systemsOversee parallel workforce and hierarchy management tools to ensure data consistency and integritySupport system hygiene initiatives to ensure accurate organizational mapping and reporting accuracyFinancial ManagementManage vendor invoicing and contingent workforce time tracking to ensure accurate billing and payment processingSupport monthly accruals and expense reconciliation processesAssist in maintaining budget alignment across workforce and operational spend categoriesProgram & Operational SupportPartner with leadership on execution of key operational initiatives and governance programsSupport remediation efforts related to audit findings and regulatory requirementsAssist in workforce planning and organizational design initiativesContribute to divisional reporting, dashboards, and management presentationsCommunications & Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with multiple stakeholders across engineering, business, and operations teamsSupport internal communications and coordination across global teamsBuild strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partnersBasic Qualifications2-3 years of experience in financial services or a similarly analytical, data-driven environmentStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesHigh attention to detail with strong organizational disciplineAbility to manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables simultaneouslyStrong analytical and critical thinking skills with sound judgmentAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential)Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks from initiation to completionCollaborative mindset with the ability to work across diverse teamsSelf-starter with a proactive, results-oriented approachPreferred QualificationsExposure to financial services products, operations, or technology environmentsExperience in business operations, technology strategy, or management consultingFamiliarity with workforce management or vendor management systemsExperience with project tracking tools such as JIRAUnderstanding of automated testing tools or quality assurance frameworks is a plusAdditional InformationThis role is part of a high-impact Chief of Staff function supporting Data Engineering leadership.
