    You will be joining the Audio Video & Communications team in a year in which the management and marketing teams will be integral. The Audio Video & Communications category covers our consumer audio products, landline and cordless phones.
    How you will become part of the bigger picture.... As part of our team you will provide support in tasks including:
    Regularly update reports and develop a thorough understanding of market forecasts and data. Analyse market data monthly, create, and present PowerPoint presentations to update senior management on the key insights. Monitor sales and advertising activity on sales channels and suggest optimisations for campaigns. Assist in organising and executing promotional activities and events. Liaise with colleagues in Europe and Japan regarding products, stock, and marketing materials. Order stock from factories or other sales companies in Europe. Arrange deliveries and collections of stock between EU countries and the UK to maintain operating levels. Make decisions on stock orders from central for the UK. Maintain strong communication between product, sales, and brand communications teams to support sales and marketing actions. Update web content for online retailers and have a creative influence on how our products are marketed online. Assist with ad hoc tasks across the wider consumer product categories. Assist with the business planning process during your year with us. Take charge of the recruitment process to find the next student after you complete your placement. What you will bring to the picture.... Must be a current university student on a course with an integrated industrial placement year where this experience would be beneficial to your course. Proactive in the workplace, using initiative to complete tasks without supervision & always striving to improve the business. Strong interpersonal and communication skills providing you with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a comprehensible written and verbal form. Problem-solving ability that will enable you to develop innovative solutions for any barriers or administrative issues that arise. Ability to work independently, as well as within a team environment. Good time-management and the ability to prioritise workload in an organised fashion, based on the business objectives. Independent management of responsibilities and ability to take full ownership of daily tasks. Team player and ability to work in harmony with the rest of the group. Strong drive to succeed within the corporate environment, always looking for ways to facilitate the growth of Panasonic UK. An interest in commercial marketing and/ or consumer electronics will help you to succeed in each category (Audio, Imaging, Personal Care & Kitchen).
    Experience and/or knowledge of the following would be beneficial:
    Microsoft - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams Key social media platforms Photoshop Modern marketing knowledge Independent working Working in a team Communicating with customers via email Presentation skills (or the willingness to develop these skills)
