Demand Forecasting & PlanningDevelop accurate demand forecasts for spare parts using historical data, installed base information, and usage trends.Incorporate insights from Sales, Service, and Engineering to enhance forecast accuracy.Monitor product lifecycle stages to adjust forecasting accordingly.Liaise with product development teams on new product introductions and part obsolescence.2. Spares Ordering & ProcurementGenerate purchase orders based on demand forecasts, safety stock, and lead times.Manage supplier communications for order placement, delivery timelines, and issue resolution.Expedite urgent orders and minimize backorders to avoid service disruption.3.
