    Join Us in Changing Lives  At OXB, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re on a mission to enable life-changing therapies to reach patients around the world—and we’re looking for passionate individuals who embody our core values every day: Responsible, Responsive, Resilient, and Respectful.  We’re currently recruiting for a Scientific Assistant to the Process Development team. In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to the team, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.  Your responsibilities in this role would be:  Preparing equipment for processing, including bioreactors, pH/DO probes, incubators, purification systems. Receiving deliveries, restocking & stock checking of consumables.  Carrying out in-house preparation of tubing and connectors for processing. Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities.  Raising engineering requests and chaperone engineers whilst in the Laboratories.  Cell seeding and cell count activities for analytical assays.  Assisting in maintaining the health and safety compliance as applicable. *Please note this is not considered an undergraduate opportunity at OXB. We are looking for:   Educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent. A genuine interest and drive to work in science. In this role you will be drafting, reviewing and negotiating basic agreements with third parties and assisting with contract management.  Your responsibilities in this role would be:  Liaise with Legal Team members relating to the preparation and dispatch of agreements with third parties. Draft, review and negotiate agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures and business requirements. Assist the Legal Team with the management of processes and procedures relating to agreement requests, drafting, negotiation and finalisation. Support in creating training materials and processes for internal clients and other members of the Legal Team. With the assistance of Legal Team, undertake review of proposed terms and conditions and develop strategies and recommendations to minimize potential risks to the business. Keep track of status of unsigned agreements and follow up where necessary. Handover of agreement to internal contract requesters to explain obligations, risks and timing of notice provisions. Contribute at regular Legal Team meetings and triage of Contracts inbox and Legal Team inbox requests for legal and contractual support. Filing of electronic correspondence and agreements on legal databases. In this role, you will be managing the team whose goal it is to maintain the financial integrity of the general ledger to allow for the efficient closure of the management accounts and year-end Financial Statements. Your responsibilities in this role would be: Managing a team of two, providing leadership, support, and development. Preparing and analysing financial data to understand key performance drivers, ensuring accurate financial statement treatment. Calculating key assumptions within your area of responsibility for both annual and interim reporting. Producing clear and insightful reporting and commentary to support understanding of financial results. Preparing departmental deliverables, such as management accounts packs, for review prior to external distribution. Operating key financial controls within the Financial Control team, and maintaining accurate records for your assigned controls. Ensuring accounting systems and processes are effectively managed and documented, including leading system upgrades and proposed changes. In this role you will be assisting the Legal Team with contract lifecycle management including ensuring the contracts database and filing systems are accurately completed Your responsibilities in this role would be: Supporting the Legal Team by maintaining contracts database and filing systems Supporting the drafting of simple agreements with other parties based on template agreements and review third party templates. Manage signature process for finalised agreements using digital signature tools. Assisting the management of the Contracts email inbox, triage queries and filing as appropriate. Supporting contract databases and quality data entry including contract migration and bulk updates and other technical aspects. Providing regular information on status of agreements for both the Contracts/Legal Team and other managers within the company. Filing fully executed statements of work and change orders received from Commercial and Project Management Teams or other. Carry out document scanning and archiving, as necessary. Track agreement expiry dates and help with managing renewal process and notifications. We are looking for: Good communication skills in English both written and verbal with strong attention to detail Educated to degree level or prior experience working in a contracts support role. Previous experience administrating in a regulated environment preferably legal. Proficient with MS Office-based tools, Word, Excel, Teams Demonstrable experience and understanding of the use of databases. Some appreciation in the use of AI within the administrative workplace. We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Engineer for the Engineering team. In this role, you will utilize Good Engineering Practices (GEP) to establish and maintain the industrial process automation, building automation and operational technology systems required to support cGMP manufacturing and process development. As a system owner, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations support and troubleshooting, project execution, commissioning and qualification support, and optimizing process and utilities equipment within a regulated cGMP facility, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.  Your responsibilities in this role would be:  Assuming ownership responsibility of control systems and other operational technologies by applying the engineering lifecycle to enable cGMP manufacturing. Organizing and leading all aspects of cross-functional internal projects including scope, schedules, and execution.  Applying technical expertise in ensuring the reliability of complex process equipment, data, and building and utilities systems.  Developing solutions and best practices for a variety of problems with moderate scope and complexity, and working collaboratively with Quality, Manufacturing, Facilities, Process Development, external supply partners, and vendors. Responding to support calls and troubleshoots equipment and uses evaluation, judgement, and interpretation to resolve issues and select best course of action. Being a Control Systems Engineering representative for capital projects involving building automation, process and utilities equipment for cGMP facilities. We are looking for: Technical/ Complex equipment systems – Control systems. Bioreactor/ Filling line background. Background in GMP/ Pharma/ regulated environments:  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Chemical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a cGMP engineering environment, or advanced degree in lieu of experience.  Significant knowledge and understanding of GMP engineering principles and practices in the gene therapy industry.
