We are currently recruiting for a Senior Communications and Marketing Manager to join the Commercial Team and reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications. In this role you will play a key role within OXB’s Marketing and Communications team to ensure a seamless development, planning and execution of the company’s Corporate Communications and Marketing strategies, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference. Your responsibilities in this role would be: Lead the creation and execution of a global communications plan and marketing campaigns aligned to business goals. Craft and maintain consistent, memorable corporate messaging that strengthens brand awareness and reputation. Develop tailored communication strategies for key external audiences (media, influencers, clients, and the wider public). Create personalised campaigns for priority accounts, including tailored content, targeted digital activity, and account‑specific value propositions. Build and grow OXB’s digital presence through effective social media strategy and engaging content. Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Investor Relations) to ensure aligned messaging around financial results and major corporate announcements. Oversee the development of communication materials, including press releases, corporate presentations, and relevant sections of the annual report, ensuring consistency with brand and messaging. Drive multiple marketing initiatives and the creation of high‑quality marketing assets (blogs, white papers, webinars, decks, podcasts, videos). Leverage data and establish processes across Communications and Marketing to optimise efficiency and performance. We are looking for: Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, eg, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or Communications Relevant experience in leading marketing and communications campaigns in a B2B context, ideally in healthcare, life science or CDMO environment Ability to transform business objectives into marketing strategies with the use of data to inform decisions and optimise ROI. A proven track record of building business cases and being able to manage multiple initiatives with ease, balancing short‑term deadlines with longer‑term strategic projects. A high standard of written and spoken English with the ability to write engaging content and to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences Strong digital competency with good knowledge of modern marketing tools (automation platforms, AI-driven tools, web and analytics tools, social media etc.) Strong stakeholder management skills; able to listen, communicate and collaborate effectively and solve problems with colleagues from across the business About Us: OXB is a quality and innovation-led viral vector CDMO with a mission to enable its clients to deliver life changing therapies to patients around the world. We’re currently recruiting for aQuality Control Technician I to join our Quality Control Raw Materials Team. In this role, you willensure that incoming raw materials are tested and released in time to meet manufacturing demands and are compliant with regulatory requirements, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference. Your responsibilities in this role would be: Carry out routine inspection, testing and release of incoming raw materials ensuring that quality and time targets are met Test raw materials using techniques such as pH, conductivity, osmolality, FTIR, strength assay and other wet-chemistry methods Maintain stock control in the laboratory and ordering or preparing reagents when require Carry out and document routine equipment maintenance activities Represent the QC department in communications with manufacturing, Warehouse & Supply Chain, other members of QC and the wider business to ensure on time delivery of raw materials to the end user Prepare shipments of materials to CTO’s and other sites Liaise with suppliers and external testing laboratories ensuring quality information and test results are provided in a timely manner Authoring and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation for the laboratory We are looking for: Educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent qualification level or able to demonstrate required skills gained within another workplace Previous laboratory experience is required with a good understanding of health & safety, SDS and COSSH assessment Strong attention to details to ensure a high standard of record keeping and documentation Previous experience with a LIMS/ELN system is desirable Basic understanding of GxP regulations Highly organised and motivated with a genuine interest in quality control Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Knowledge and experience of MS Office, Word, Excel & Outlook About Us: OXB is a quality and innovation-led viral vector CDMO with a mission to enable its clients to deliver life changing therapies to patients around the world. Based in the UK ideally close by our Oxford location, you be lead the implementation and maintenance of OXB’s platforms across the global network. The role will focus in areas of process and material harmonization, new technology introduction, continuous process improvement, and cross site process transfers. In this role, you will determine and execute routine preventative maintenance activities and procedures and assess and implement major fault repairs, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference. Your responsibilities in this role would be: Accountable for completion of assigned routine preventative maintenance activities Identification and mitigation of equipment faults. Responding to breakdowns of equipment, assessment, diagnosis, repair of faults or escalation Co-ordinating of OXB’s external engineering resource in relationship to specialist repairs and maintenance of assets Completing regulatory routine monitoring Evaluating asset performance against determined criteria Completing quality documentation for critical failures Escalating events impacting engineering assets. Identification and management of critical engineering stock inventory. Maintain a safety-first approach to assets and engineering procedures. We are looking for: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English An apprenticeship to NVQ 3 Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in mechanical and/or electrical engineering. Experience within a GxP Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry is preferred or alternatively a similar regulated environment. Good working knowledge of Health and Safety within an engineering environment is needed.
