    We’re currently recruiting for 2x Senior LSAR Engineers to join a leading defence programme, supporting complex maritime platforms.

    This is a great opportunity to play a key role in managing and integrating critical ILS datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across multiple engineering and supplier data sources.

    The Role You’ll be responsible for the integration, management, and interrogation of engineering and logistics data within LSAR toolsets, supporting the wider programme with accurate and reliable information.
    Key responsibilities include:
    Screening engineering drawings to build and maintain Product Breakdown Structures Integrating third-party engineering data into LSAR toolsets Ensuring accurate capture of maintenance, spares, tools, and technical documentation data Investigating and resolving data queries, providing clear and structured responses Building complex queries and reports to support business and customer requirements Identifying and resolving data misalignment across multiple sources Supporting change management and helpdesk processes Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure right-first-time data integration Mentoring junior team members where required What We’re Looking For Proven experience working with LSAR (Logistics Support Analysis Record) Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings Good general engineering knowledge Experience handling and integrating complex datasets Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Desirable:
    Knowledge of DefStan 00-60 / 00-600, ASD S2000L, S3000M SQL or data querying experience Understanding of configuration management principles Working towards Incorporated Engineer status (or equivalent experience) Why Apply?     Outsource UK is looking to recruit a Control & Instrumentation Engineer for a global bulk liquid storage and logistics organisation to support and enhance industrial automation and OT environments across multiple operational assets.

    This is a hands-on role with responsibility for maintaining, improving and commissioning instrumentation, PLC, SCADA and DCS systems, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operations within a COMAH-regulated environment.

    The role is expected to be 50% hybrid 50% travel to sites in the region. 

    Key Responsibilities:
    System Management: Maintain and improve SCADA, PLC, DCS, and IACS systems, ensuring optimal performance. Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of new control systems or upgrades. Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with instrumentation and control systems. Provide support for system maintenance, backup, and disaster recovery planning. Documentation: Review and prepare technical documents, including system specifications, engineering deliverables, and commissioning procedures. Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper system troubleshooting and issue resolution. Health, Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety standards, including COMAH requirements, and ensure all tasks meet company policies and procedures. Essential Qualifications & Experience:
    Relevant experience in control and instrumentation systems. Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience with DCS/PLC/SCADA system design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Familiarity with fieldbus protocols (Modbus, Profibus, etc.) and industrial networking. Ability to review and produce technical documents such as schematics, loop drawings, and system specifications. Experience in the design and review of DCS, SIS, PLC, and SCADA systems. Read Less
