    Our client is small accounting firm who is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant, this role will be a no2 to the owner and take ownership of a client portfolio and be supported by a small team of bookkeepers. The role will suit an ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified Accountant with a background working in an Accountancy Practice and looking to work in a friendly flexible team environment. The standard hours are 35 hours a week but if somebody wanted slightly reduced hours down to 25 hours a week this could be discussed. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting and tax issues for specific clients, including preparing annual accounts and tax returns for companies and individuals. Support bookkeepers with tax treatment of unfamiliar bookkeeping items and assist the team with complicated tasks or transactions. Develop and document effective processes in collaboration with the team. Self-organise and assist the team to cover capacity gaps, including bank imports or bookkeeping for tax return clients as needed. Oversee AML checks and the onboarding process for clients transitioning from prospect. Identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to enhance deliverables. Utilise software: Xero, Quickbooks, FreeAgent, and Sage Online). A salary of £60,000-£65,000 is on offer. Read Less

They have a newly created role for a Senior Management Accountant to take ownership of their c $20-25m revenue US business, the role will take full ownership of the management accounting, analysis and partnering with key stakeholders. This role will also manage 1 report and once proven will be progress to also take ownership of their Irish business as well. The role will suit a finalist level to qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA. The role will be at the heart of the financial operations across the USA and Ireland, the role will lead the month-end management accounting process, ensuring accurate sales and cost of sales accruals, maintaining the fixed asset register, preparing OPEX journals, and keeping balance sheet reconciliations up to date. Beyond core accounting responsibilities, this role acts as a strategic finance partner across the ROW region — with a core focus on the USA and Ireland. The role will deliver insightful revenue and margin analysis, support forecasting and budget modelling, and provide commercial financial insight to influence bids, pricing, and key business decisions. You will also play a meaningful role in financial transformation initiatives, tracking operational and financial KPIs and contributing to continuous improvement across our international operations.
