This role presents an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Junior Quantity Surveyor or an ambitious Trainee Quantity Surveyor with around 1-4 years' experience who is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive environment. Assistant Quantity Surveyor The Role Working alongside an experienced commercial team, you will assist in the commercial management of multiple construction and fit-out projects from procurement through to final account. You'll gain exposure to every stage of the commercial process while receiving ongoing support and mentoring to help develop your career. Assistant Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities Assisting with the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion. Supporting subcontractor procurement and tender analysis. Preparing and managing subcontractor orders. Assisting with valuations, variations and final accounts. Supporting the preparation of CVRs and financial reporting. Monitoring project costs and budgets. Assisting with subcontractor payments and commercial administration. Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the wider project team. Assistant Quantity Surveyor About You 1-4 years' experience within the construction industry. Currently working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Junior Quantity Surveyor or Trainee Quantity Surveyor. Experience working for a main contractor is preferred. Good commercial awareness with a willingness to learn. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, or working towards one, would be advantageous but is not essential. Full UK Driving Licence.
