This fusion of tradition and innovation will provide a stunning, future ready space for patients and staff alike.This is a rewarding opportunity to lead both operational excellence and strategic growth.About the RoleAs Business Manager, you’ll be responsible for the leadership, development, and performance of Rosedean House Surgery. Working closely with our Central Support Team, you’ll manage daily operations, team performance, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability, all while driving our growth and quality ambitions. This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager who is ready for a challenge and to lead of the transformation of the practice with a supportive on site and central team.You’ll play a pivotal role in:Leading and growing your team through a period of transformationEnhancing the patient experienceMaximising income through NHS contracts and private servicesWith support from our central People, Finance, quality and Clinical teams, this is your opportunity to shape a practice and make a meaningful impact every day, supported by the Network Operations Manager for the South.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead and inspire a multi-disciplinary site team, creating a positive, empowered cultureEnsure effective communication, 1-2-1s, appraisals, and development pathwaysChampion innovation, collaboration and continuous improvementOperational ManagementOversee daily running of the practice including staffing, clinics, and cover arrangementsEnsure full compliance with CQC standards, NHS contracts and internal policiesManage inspections, audits, incidents, complaints and reportingLead on Health & Safety, IT, premises and risk managementStrategic Delivery & QualityDrive delivery of QOF, LES, DES, and all contract obligationsEnsure service quality, patient safety, and clinical governance standards are consistently metBusiness Growth & Financial PerformanceGrow the registered patient list through local engagement and service excellenceMaximise income across NHS funded and private servicesLead budget planning and financial managementMonitor income/expenditure and ensure robust financial controlsStakeholder & Community EngagementBuild trusted relationships with patients, PCNs, ICBs, local commissioners and community groupsWhat We’re Looking ForYou’ll be a confident, people-first leader with a strategic mindset and operational rigour.Essential CriteriaSenior leadership experienceTrack record of successfully managing teams, contracts, and changeStrong understanding of NHS frameworks (QOF, CQC, KPIs, contract delivery)Budget management and performance deliveryExcellent communication, negotiation and influencing skillsYou’ll Thrive Here If You Are:Visionary but grounded in the detailCommercially savvy and values-ledResilient, adaptable and positivePassionate about transforming patient careA natural leader who builds others up
