    The Head of Seller Experience owns the end-to-end Seller Journey and the commercial success of our seller base. You will define and deliver a strategy that makes it effortless and rewarding for sellers to onboard, trade, grow and thrive on our marketplace. This role leads our Seller-side Product Owners and partners across all aspects of our business to design intuitive seller experiences, unlock trading performance and ensure sellers maximise their success on our platform.
    You will combine insight, design, commercial analysis and automation to drive simplicity, trust and measurable trading outcomes. You will champion the seller, create frictionless journeys and ensure our platform evolves in line with seller needs and marketplace opportunity. This is a strategic, insight-led and outcome-focused leadership role balancing Product Ownership, CX excellence and commercial growth. Sellers are the beating heart of our marketplace. You will be the engine force that enables them to join, trade and scale with confidence. Through experience innovation, commercial discipline and insight-led leadership, you will shape the future of our marketplace and unlock sustainable global growth.
    Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership Own the Seller Experience and Growth strategy across onboarding, trading, performance, and solutions. Lead and coach Product Owners and Seller Experience teams, ensuring clarity of vision, prioritisation, and delivery. Champion data-driven decision-making , design thinking, and behavioural insights as core levers. Embed a culture of seller obsession and outcome-focused execution. Journey Ownership & Proposition Development Take ownership of the end-to-end Seller Journey , removing friction at every lifecycle stage. Conduct journey mapping, research, and insight to create intuitive, scalable, and trust-building experiences. Translate seller insights into clear propositions, product direction, and delivery priorities. Partner with Technology to ensure platform maturity, reliability, and continuous improvement. Commercial & Trading Performance Drive seller lifecycle performance across activation, time to first sale, growth, retention, and satisfaction. Collaborate with BI to build dashboards tracking seller performance, GMV contribution, and marketplace dynamics. Identify opportunities in pricing, content, competitiveness, and assortment. Define and implement segmentation strategies to tailor support and experience to seller value and potential. Automation & Operating Model Evolution Lead automation and AI workflows to enable scalable, proactive seller support and trading interventions. Build digital-first seller management frameworks with targeted high-touch engagement where it matters. Work cross-functionally to resolve systemic barriers and trading blockers quickly. Voice of Seller & Insight Systems Create and scale a Voice of Seller program with real-time feedback loops and structured reporting. Convert insights into clear actions, backlog prioritisation, and product decisions. Deliver behavioural and journey-level improvements through evidence-based experimentation and test-and-learn approaches. Cross-Functional Influence Act as the strategic champion for sellers across leadership forums. Ensure alignment and coordination of initiatives across all business areas. Bring sharp narrative storytelling and data-led influence to senior decision-making environments.

    The salary on offer for this role is up to £90,000 per annum depending on experience. We also offer the following benefits:

Their insights directly move GMV, strengthen contribution, and fuel the flywheel of buyer satisfaction and seller success across all markets.About the Role The Seller Trading Manager owns the quality, competitiveness and visibility of our marketplace catalogue across the UK and International Markets. The primary responsibility is to ensure seller data is accurate, enriched and fit for purpose, and to turn that high-quality data into clear, actionable trading insights. This role does not directly execute seller-facing actions. Instead, it generates a structured pipeline of opportunities e.g. content fixes, pricing gaps, availability issues, GTIN/GS1 integrity, search visibility improvements that are passed to Seller Success and Sales to activate in line with our Lead Scoring Methodology.What you’ll ownCatalogue Quality Leadership: End-to-end governance of seller data quality across regions; enforce accept/optimise/suppress/return rules and uphold gold standards for images, titles, attributes, GTINs/GS1, encoding, and de-duplication.Taxonomy & Mapping: Define and maintain taxonomy, category hierarchy, product mapping, and catalogue segmentation; ensure international readiness (language, symbols, encoding).Trading Insights: Analyse visibility, search rank, competitiveness, conversion, GMC health, and availability; generate structured opportunity packets (issue, action, size of prize) for Seller Success & Sales; prioritise via Trading Score, Lead Score, and propensity signals.Search & Discoverability: Remove ghost products and fix mis-categorisation; improve search/browse relevance through data and mapping; set surfacing/suppression/boosting rules based on competitiveness and data quality; partner with Buyer Experience & Tech on ranking logic and filters.Pricing Accuracy & Competitiveness: Maintain accurate regional pricing; detect market misalignment; segment inventory (KVI, premium, long-tail, substitution-sensitive); surface pricing-led trading actions for commercial teams.Feature Brand Management (UK/EU): Ensure top brands meet standards for content, GTINs, compliance; lift visibility and conversion using data signals; collaborate with Marketing on discovery, merchandising, and campaigns.GMC Readiness: Guarantee catalogue compliance with Google Merchant Center requirements; reduce disapprovals, grow impression share, and mine GMC data for further optimisation.  RequirementsMarketplace or eCommerce trading, category management, or product data operations experience.Deep understanding of product data structures, taxonomy, attributes, GTINs and GS1 standards.Hands-on experience with search systems (e.g., Solr), GMC, feed management and competitive pricing.Analytical capability with the ability to translate signals into actionable insights.Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence cross-functional teams.High attention to detail with strong commercial judgement.
