You will be responsible for leading the development of innovative aerospace products throughout the product lifecycle, including design, development, testing and qualification. You’ll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you’ll be able to showcase your skills and expertise in a highly technical and challenging product development role. Duties – Senior Product Development Engineer Technical development of products from concept through to flight qualification. Translating customer requirements into robust engineering solutions. Supporting the design and development of high-performance aerospace components. Coordinating technical activities and engineering deliverables. Leading technical investigations and problem-solving activities. Coordinating development and qualification testing. Working with cross functional engineering departments to deliver success. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to developing engineers. Background – Senior Product Development Engineer Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace or related Engineering discipline. Significant experience developing complex engineered products. Able to lead technical activities across product development lifecycle. Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification testing. Experience with hydraulic or electrohydraulic systems (Desirable) Experience using Siemens NX or similar CAD software. Experience using analysis tools such as Mathcad, CFD, and FEA. Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.
