My client is a world leader in Aerospace Industry and they are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer. You will support the day to day running of the Quality Management System, ensuring that products are manufactured and assembled in line with specified requirements. In this role you will be proactive and be involved with all departmental functions from Engineering through Operations and Customer Support. Provide 24-hour emergency call out cover to respond to generator set failures when necessary. Complete air emissions monitoring and environmental spill control using spill control equipment. Work with internal and external specialists in ways that resolve technical issues and concerns. Qualifications & Requirements – Landfill Gas Engineer A qualification in mechanical and or electrical engineering. At least 2 years of proven relevant experience in a similar role. An awareness of all current environmental protection legislation. Previous experience within landfill is advantageous but not essential. Ability to plan and prioritise own workload as required. Systemic approach to problem solving.
