On Friday from 8:00am – 3:00pm.Hours of work: 38 per week.Duration: 42 months.Start date: 7th of September 2026.Level: Level 3 Engineering maintenance technician Apprenticeship standard and appropriate NVQ3.Salary: starting at £17534.02, with annual increases subject to performance.Training is work‑based, primarily at customer sites, so you must be prepared to travel.

Primary accountability for this role is to provide quality competence support by solving complex technical issues identified on equipment and spreading technical knowledge through the organization.

    ResponsibilitiesDeliver timely and precise fault finding and troubleshooting of lifts on siteCommunicate with customers on site regarding day-to-day activities and updates on lift stateCreate and process cases in Kone Technical helpdesk tool, prepare quality reports after remote support and/or site visitsPropose sales solutions to improve equipment reliability, comfort and safety, help sales in assessing the maintainability of equipment before tendering for maintenance contractHighlight development needs of Service engineers, improve their competence by explaining root causes and solutions of the technical issues solvedSpread technical knowledge, provide training/coaching to engineersAdhere to health and safety on site at all timesQualifications and ExperiencePrevious experience in trouble shooting and fault finding of a variety of liftsNVQ3 qualification is required, NVQ4 is preferable.
