Octavius Infrastructure, a leader in rail infrastructure services, is seeking a Senior Electrification & Plant Site Manager to join our Southern Renewals Enterprise team. In this pivotal role, you will take overall responsibility for the safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery of electrification and plant renewals and enhancements across the Southern region. You'll lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers, technicians, and operatives, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards, and act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee successful project outcomes.   Responsibilities: Leadership & Oversight: Lead and manage all site activities for electrification and plant projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest standards. Set the tone for a collaborative, high-performing culture across your teams and supply chain partners. Strategic Planning: Oversee the planning, coordination, and supervision of installation, testing, and commissioning of electrification and plant assets Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are executed in line with design specifications, industry standards, and company procedures. Drive a right-first-time approach and proactively address any issues or non-conformances. Performance Management: Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and quality. Implement corrective actions as needed and ensure projects are closed out efficiently, with all documentation and asset registers accurately maintained. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Foster strong relationships and ensure clear, timely communication throughout the project lifecycle. Team Development: Mentor and develop Site Managers, Engineers, and Operatives. Conduct regular appraisals, identify training needs, and promote continuous professional development within your teams. Safety Leadership: Champion a positive safety culture, ensuring all health, safety, and environmental requirements are met and exceeded. Lead by example and ensure lessons learned are shared and implemented across projects. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices, drive innovation, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of project delivery processes.
