Octavius Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Information Manager to lead document and information management nationally across the SRE (Southern Renewables Enterprise), ensuring secure, accurate, and collaborative project delivery. As Information Manager on the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE), you'll play a key role in collaborating with our Ecosystem Partners and Stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality information management across the programme. Strong communication and coordination skills will be essential as you work closely with internal teams and external partners to align data standards, reporting, and document control processes.
The SRE is a £9 billion, 10-year rail renewals programme covering Network Rail's Southern Region (Kent, Sussex, Wessex), spanning Control Periods 7 (2024–2029) and 8 (2029–2034).
Octavius leads the SID electrification and plant workstream, collaborating closely with Partners on an integrated delivery model.

Leading the management and control of all project-related documents, drawings, and reports across our Enterprise portfolio of projects within the Southern Region in the rail sector. You'll ensure effective collaboration and secure information flow using systems like Autodesk Construction Cloud, Assetwise ALIM, SharePoint. You'll be responsible for implementing BIM strategies and standards, optimising BIM software and tools, and maintaining the Framework Information Management Plan, BEP and Project BIM Statements. Your role will include contribution to shaping the SRE digital strategy, conducting quality audits, maintaining accurate registers, and supporting successful project delivery through robust information management.

You're skilled at managing complex information flows and document control processes, with a comprehensive understanding of BIM standards (including BIM ISO 19650) and their application across project lifecycles. Extensive experience in information management and document control, with expertise in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bentley ProjectWise, Assetwise ALIM and SharePoint.
Proven track record in implementing BIM strategies and standards across multidisciplinary projects.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead, mentor, and train teams, delivering structured training programs and guides.
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Professional certifications in document control, information management, or BIM (e.g., BIM ISO 19650 Practitioner) are preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; skills in Power BI or Power Automate are advantageous.
Knowledge of Network Rail CAD and information management standards.
