Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with complex medical needs? NurtureCare is seeking dedicated and compassionate carers to provide specialist healthcare support at a special school in the DE23 area, working alongside Registered nurses to deliver high-quality care.
About the Role:
As a Specialist Carer, you will work within the school environment, supporting pupils with a range of medical conditions, including:
✔ Gastrostomy (PEG/NG) feeding
✔ Oxygen therapy
✔ Epilepsy management & seizure care
✔ Personal care & mobility support
✔Medication
✔ Supporting Registered nurses in delivering clinical care

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in healthcare, complex care, or SEND support (preferred but not essential)
A compassionate and patient-centred approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Willingness to undertake further specialist training
