As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse in our hospital, you’ll be attentive, driven, detail-oriented and empathetic. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care. As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)Be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access DevicesBe a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led serviceWork with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapyFully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT)Assist consultants during clinics Provide care for Acute Oncological emergenciesCollaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)Helping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
