Building Safety Co-ordinator Croydon / Farringdon / Maidstone / Sittingbourne (Hybrid Working Available) The Role:
We're looking for a proactive and organised Building Safety Co-ordinator to join our dynamic Building Safety team. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, supporting the delivery of vital building and fire safety work across our portfolio.You'll collaborate closely with colleagues, manage changing priorities with ease, and take pride in helping to ensure our buildings remain safe, compliant, and well-managed. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in building and fire safety while contributing to meaningful work that protects residents and communities.Support the delivery of fire safety and building safety management plans.Manage and track actions across systems including Keystone, Riskhub, Apex, CRM, MRI, and Customer Dynamics.Coordinate reactive and planned surveys, inspections, and remedial actions.Oversee busy shared inboxes, ensuring timely, professional responses.Provide administrative support - scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and tracking actions.Liaise with contractors, consultants, and third parties.Support contract management, raise work orders, review invoices, and maintain financial records.Provide guidance and training to colleagues on safety policies and systems.Run and analyse operational reports, assist with audits, and support incident investigations.Help prioritise enforcement actions and track completion.Attend sites when required to support the Building Safety team.The Candidate:Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (or equivalent) - or willingness to work towards one.Background in Health & Safety, Auditing, or Compliance.Strong administrative experience with a keen eye for detail.Excellent written and verbal communication.Highly organised and methodical approach.Confident use of IT tools to produce reports, documents, and communications.Strong customer service focus - clear, friendly, and professional.Attentive to detail and accuracy.Empathetic and approachable, with excellent listening skills.Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic.Creative problem-solver who stays calm under pressure.Able to manage a busy workload and meet tight deadlines.Sound judgement - knows when to push, negotiate, or compromise.Flexibility to travel between Croydon, Farringdon, and Maidstone offices when needed.How to ApplyIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and help make our buildings safer for everyone as a Building Safety Co-ordinator , we'd love to hear from you.
