    You will act as a first point of contact for individuals presenting as homeless or at risk of homelessness. Working as part of the Triage Team, you shall provide timely, effective advice, manage a varied caseload, and issue clear statutory decisions in line with legislation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide frontline triage to customers presenting with urgent housing needs.Manage a caseload of households who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.Issue legally compliant decisions, including "not homeless" and "not eligible" outcomes.Deliver expert advice and support in accordance with Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996.Liaise and negotiate with partners, agencies, and accommodation providers.Maintain accurate records and manage cases through the Jigsaw system.Work independently whilst contributing to a highly active team environment.RequirementsStrong understanding of homelessness legislation, particularly Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996.Proven background in housing advice, case management, and multi-agency working.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise statutory letters.Confident working under pressure and handling a demanding caseload.Experience using the Jigsaw system is essential.Must be able to attend the office four days per week (Kettering/Wellingborough).
