    This job is responsible for the preparation of optical sub-assemblies: cutting, cleaning and mounting optics and associated parts. Kit picking as requested to maintain Optical kit supply to labs.Primary Responsibilities
    • Preparation of optical sub-assemblies: cutting, cleaning and mounting optics and associated mechanical parts.
    • Kit picking as required with complete data entry.
    • Liaison with Team Leaders/Managers to assist early identification and control of any works order processing or quality issues.
    • Participation in Company internal audits and stock take routines.
    • Responsible for thorough optics stock control to include data entry.
    • Any other tasks as business needs dictateGeneral Tasks
    • Maintain strict compliance with the quality, environmental and occupational health and safety regulations and implementation of the instructions of the quality, environmental management and/or occupational health and safety officer.Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
    • Previous experience of assembly of small, intricate, high value mechanical parts.
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
    • Excellent dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Observational and analytical skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Good written and oral communication skills.
    • PC literate; MS Office suite.
