    About the roleWe have an opportunity to join the Corporate Affairs team as our Local Action Coordinator. This role plays an important role in helping our communities understand our Environment strategy through impactful communications, events and engagement activities. Overall, this will ensure we leave a lasting and positive impression with our communities.You’ll coordinate and deliver our Local Action community engagement campaign, working closely with teams to coordinate budgeting, venue booking, invitations and briefing attendees. This means you’ll work closely with teams across the business to ensure every interaction reflects our values to ensure we build trusted relationships.The content you’ll create will be compelling, bringing to life our values and brand guidelines.A key part of this role will be gathering insight, reporting on outcomes and using feedback to shape future activity. This will include collecting and reporting feedback to influence messaging and communication strategies for future.About youIf you have a background in external communications or hands-on experience working in community-focused environmental roles, we’d love to hear from you.You’ll be comfortable delivering events, acting as an ambassador for your organisation. This includes driving meaningful engagement and building strong relationships. Therefore, you’ll use your previous experience working with stakeholders like local councillors and customers.You’ll be experienced translating complex information into an easy-to-understand format across digital and transitional platforms. Previous experience in digital media, photography or video would be valuable.Whilst you’ll be part of the wider corporate affairs team, you’ll be confident in both group and individual environments, tailoring your communication depending on your audience.This is a fast-paced team, requiring the successful candidate to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining a positive approach. Working with chemicals and validating and calibrating instruments will be key to your role in effectively operating the treatment process.You will support process unit cleaning, site general maintenance and cleaning tasks.
