    Job Description
    Nirvana Managed Services is a leading Facilities Management company dedicated to providing high-quality cleaning, caretaking and site management services to both the public and private sector. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team.


    As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of cleaning staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. You will be responsible for inspecting designated areas and ensuring they are cleaned and maintained according to company standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with training new cleaning staff, managing schedules, and ordering cleaning supplies as needed.

    **Responsibilities:**
    - Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, working to our Operations Manager including assigning tasks and inspecting work to ensure quality standards are met
    - Train new cleaning staff members on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
    - Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are cleaned in a timely manner
    - Order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
    - Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
    - Address any issues or complaints regarding cleaning services promptly and effectively
    - Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
    - Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
    -deep cleaning of sites weekly, working in accordance to the Operations managers' directions

    * MONTHLY PAY
    * 3PM TILL 7PM
    * MONDAY TO FRIDAY
    * 40 WEEKS A YEAR PLUS OVERTIME 
    * PRO ROTA SALARY
    * DRIVER REQUIRED WITH OWN VEHICLE 
    * MILEAGE PAID

    The job roles of the care taker are as follows:

    Maintain the buildings and amenities of the school, effecting all necessary repairs and improvements.

    Monitor all works related to grounds maintenance; ensuring that specified standards are achieved and that contract compliance is obtained.

    Organise and supervise the work of the cleaning staff on the school site, including arranging work schedules, monitoring cleaning duties, ordering supplies of cleaning materials and other caretaking materials, opening and closing of the site, Water testing and fire alarm testing.





    Requirements
    The desired applicant will have the following skills:

    Knowledge of:
    Building, Fire & H & S regulations.
    Practical maintenance ability and some knowledge of plumbing and electrics.
    technical knowledge.
    Supervisory skills.
    Administration and financial systems.
    Contract and tendering process.
    Operation of cleaning equipment, power and hand tools.
    Site services and their location and isolation points.
    Breakdowns, faults and repairs – identification and calling out of appropriate contractor.

    This is a Temporary Position covering a long term sick absence

    * 25 hours per week

    * Monday to Friday 

    * Term Tine only

    * Split Shift

    * 7am till 9am - open site

    * 3pm till 6pm - Maintenance and close

    * £13.50ph

    A current DBS certificate is preferred upon application but one will also be completed.
