    About the role
    Join a highperforming, patientcentred aseptic service that underpins cancer care across the West of Scotland. Our BWoSCC Pharmacy team prepares and checks highvolume systemic anticancer therapy (SACT) and supports complex therapies including ATMP/CART, working across inpatient, day case and outpatient pathways. The post holder will split their time between clinical cancer care and the aseptic service (circa 50% in dispensary/aseptic), contributing to safe, timely production and release, clinical verification, and continual service improvement.
    What youll do
    Provide clinical and aseptic pharmacist input across solid tumour and haematology specialties, including BMT and advanced therapies.
    Undertake clinical screening/verification of SACT, manage risk, and support timely preparation and release in line with GMP/MHRA requirements.
    Lead/participate in validation, quality assurance, incident review, audit, and training for aseptic processes.
    Contribute to service development initiatives (e.g., optimising nonmedical prescribing and advanced practice), aligned to local cancer care priorities.
    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient flow and experience across inpatient, day case and outpatient settings.
    About you
    Essential: GPhCregistered Pharmacist.
    Significant postregistration hospital/clinical pharmacy experience, with demonstrable competence in aseptic services (screening, release, QA/GMP).
    Strong decisionmaking, communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working in a fastpaced, highthroughput environment.

    We are looking for a suitably qualified, initiative-taking, and proactive Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and supportive team at Gartnavel General Hospital. Although based at Gartnavel General Hospital, cross sector working in any North Sector site may be required. The successful candidate must be keen to develop their clinical knowledge and skills within a supportive environment and work to provide high quality, patient focused pharmaceutical care to inpatients. You will be involved in obtaining and documenting accurate medication histories, providing patient education on high-risk medicines, facilitating and streamlining admission and discharge process at ward level, working with multidisciplinary team, liaising with GPs, Community Pharmacy and other members of the Primary Care Team. You will be integral to the development of technical services and the extended roles of the Pharmacy Technician.
    The post holder will work in the main pharmacy department and at ward level liaising closely with the wider multidisciplinary team. You will provide support to the dispensary and BWOSCC Satellite dispensing areas as an accuracy checker and ward-based activities, supporting the provision of pharmacy services to both inpatient and outpatients. The post holder will be required to be involved in the training and development of Pharmacy Support workers, Pre-registration Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians and Trainee Pharmacists.
    The successful candidate will be offered full training for this post and have a key role in developing the technical roles towards advanced practice. You must be initiative-taking with a positive flexible attitude and able to maintain, develop and use your own professional judgement and skills for the benefit of patients. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to lead and motivate a team. Effective communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to organise and prioritise workload are essential. You will possess an NC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have an accredited Final Accuracy Checking qualification. We implemented Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HePMA) throughout the acute hospital in 2016, and it has since been rolled out across key sites in the health board.     An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward-thinking and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our pharmacy team within Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH). The post holder will divide their time equally between two key areas:HePMA Team: The post holder will be part of a dedicated HePMA team, responsible for the ongoing development of the HePMA system in NHS Forth Valley. This includes extending the patient safety and clinical benefits that the system delivers to clinicians. You will work closely with the System Manager, clinicians, and the wider pharmacy team to advance the safe and effective operation of the system. This will involve finding innovative ways to use reports and protocols, as well as helping to optimise use of the Pharmacist Early Warning (PhEW) tool to improve clinical pharmacy patient prioritisation.Emergency Department: The other half of the role will be based within the Emergency Department (ED), providing a clinical pharmacy service as part of a test of change.
