    About the roleThis is a varied and important support role within our Operational Support team, which plays a key part in helping our Underwriting teams and wider business operate smoothly and efficiently.

    As an Operational Support Administrator, you’ll be part of a team that sits at the heart of the business, handling a wide range of administrative and operational activities that directly support the customer journey and internal decision making. The work you do helps ensure policies are processed accurately, underwriting activity runs smoothly, and colleagues across the organisation have the support they need to do their jobs well.

    You’ll support colleagues by managing a range of tasks that sit alongside policy administration and system changes. This includes updating policy information, inputting information from customers, handling inbound and outbound post, and responding to requests from internal teams. As systems evolve and new work transitions into the team, you’ll help bridge gaps where manual intervention is still required, making attention to detail and organisation especially important.

    Day to day tasks can vary, and no two days are the same; one day you might be focused on data and system based tasks, while another could involve coordinating requests from Underwriting, Claims or other internal teams. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys variety, likes understanding how different parts of a business connect, and wants to develop supportive, team based environment. Full training is provided, and there are opportunities to develop skills over time as confidence grows.
    If based in Bristol, you’ll provide reception cover, and so more presence in the office will be required. Regardless of location, you’ll be a go to point of contact for queries, known for being approachable, helpful and reliable.

    This role can be based out of York, or Bristol. Regardless of location, you’ll work two days in the office, and the rest of your hours from home.     As a Financial Services Training Improvement Consultant, you’ll take a lead role in continually enhancing the training and development of more than 75 Financial Advisers, along with our Non advised Sales (NAS) colleagues. You’ll design and deliver comprehensive induction programmes, collaborate closely with Operations, Risk and Governance teams, and ensure our financial advisers & NAS employees remain up to date and compliant with Life Sales processes and regulatory requirements.

    About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Pricing Development team who are responsible for Demand Modelling and Pricing Innovation.     You’ll be a key leader within the team, managing and supporting junior colleagues as they learn and develop in their roles. You’ll also work with and influence peers and senior leadership through great communication, and an ability to make the complex, simple.
    In this role you’ll provide a lead in the development, implementation and testing of general insurance demand and competitor models to ensure effective market understanding and to maintain market par capability.     This role is known internally as Pricing Development ConsultantAbout youWe’re looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, able to motivate and improve the performance of those around you. You’re accomplished in technical pricing and with experience of directly managing, coaching or mentoring junior colleagues- team leadership is a key part of this role and you’ll be eager to develop in this area. You’re comfortable challenging yourself and others to achieve higher levels of quality and output to gain greater results. Ideally with general insurance background in either personal or commercial lines, as well as detailed and up to date knowledge of ‘pricing best practice’, you’ll have:

    Proven experience of working in a Pricing team, with personal accountability for the delivery of modelling or innovation work
    Direct involvement in building pricing models, including specific responsibility for the end-to-end design of the model build, whether GLMs/GBMs or Machine Learning methods
    Expert product knowledge for the market sector you’re operating in and a proven ability to conduct peer reviews.
