    Nexperia Manchester are now seeking a Multiskilled Equipment Engineering Technician to join our 100‑strong on‑site Equipment team and help shape the future of our operations. What you will doAs a Multiskilled Equipment Engineering Technician, you will be a key contributor to our manufacturing operations, carrying out routine maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and performing root‑cause analysis on complex, high‑tech wafer‑fab systems. Working a 7–7 shift pattern—two weeks of days followed by one week of nights—you’ll operate on 12‑hour shifts with four days off each week. You’ll diagnose faults swiftly, execute repairs efficiently, and understand how your work directly influences semiconductor yield. You’ll also play an active role in optimising maintenance procedures using available KPIs, ensuring strong spare‑parts control, and upholding exemplary 5S standards.
