What we are looking for: You should demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Social Care through a history of teaching in the area and practical work experience in the field. The successful applicant will work as a member of the team delivering a full range of Health and Social Care qualifications including BTEC Level 1 to 5. This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer to join us in teaching on our Health and Social Care provision. Candidates should hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. It is compulsory for the candidate to have experience teaching BTEC level 1 to 5. The candidate must also have experience in teaching Science units related to Health and Social Care is essential. The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have an open mind-set and attitude towards technology and virtual learning tools. Along with current Maths and English skills, you will also demonstrate the ability to engage and develop our learners and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners This role is an exciting developmental opportunity for an appropriately qualified lecturer to gain further skills in this area.
