    Are you immediately available and looking to gain some further experience in QC? Do you have experience with ICP-OES and good Wet Chemistry Skills? A leading and successful Manufacturer of Chemical Products are seeking a QC Lab Technician to join them at their facility near Pocklington in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a busy production environment and will require the ability to work proactively and reactively to maintain production timelines. Prior Experience utilising ICP-OES in a similar role would make you a strong fit for this position. Role Overview Start Date ASAP - w/c 3rd August Ideally. £15ph Initially Temporary, Full-time(40 hours per week) shifts of either 6AM-2PM, 8AM-4PM or 2PM-Midnight . Initially 3-6 months with potential to go permanent. Analyse samples (Raw Materials and Finished Products) via a range of Wet Chemistry Techniques and ICP-OES. Produce Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and other notes, records and system updates in line with relevant standards and procedures. Requirements HNC or Higher in a scientific discipline Prior experience in a Chemical QC Testing Lab , ideally utilising ICP-OES and various Bench/Wet Chemistry Techniques. Working knowledge of ISO Standards and Quality Management Systems, as well as experience with LIMS Excellent time keeping skills and the ability to prioritise and work quickly to production schedules. Experience working in a production/ lab or similar relevant fast pace environment highly beneficial. Must be available to begin immediately in Pocklington.
