    As a Utility Arborist, using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. Your role will be to clear trees and vegetation in proximity to our customers overhead transmission and distribution network. Working with safety at the forefront of all activities, you will work with your team to evaluate, prepare and carry out tree cutting works on a variety of sites. This role sits within our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division Environmental Solutions Plus.     Key Responsibilities

    Experience and Qualifications

    You will be required to work on a shift pattern rota [averaging 40 hours per week] which will include weekends & unsociable hours.
    Experience and Qualifications
    We are looking for excellent communication skills and the ability to keep calm under pressure. The ideal candidate shall:

    Be able to work in a Dynamic and collaborative work environment. Have a Strong knowledge of gas systems, regulations, and safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
    You must have either a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification to apply. A MET1 qualification would be beneficial but is not essential. As well as experience working within a gas environment, including good knowledge of gas appliances; testing, purging and the commissioning of pipework.

    An understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety.

    We are recruiting for an Operations Manager to work on our Southwest Water Lead Replacement Programme across Devon, Cornwall and West Dorset. 
     
    The Operations Manager has accountability for the safe, and quality assured delivery of the programme / works in accordance with the Clients specifications and reporting requirements. You are responsible for driving forward the implementation of HSEQ requirements in line with the Network Plus processes and systems and aligned to the requirement of the client.

    This role has the responsibility for ensuring that documentation, site records, forward planning and forecasting, progress photographs and progress are maintained.

    The Operations Manager will ensure all subcontract resources work to Networks Plus HSEQ requirements at all times. Ensuring all assets are installed to the correct specification. 

    Liaison with both planning and street works teams to ensure the efficient delivery of the programme. Assisting the Delivery Manager to maintain optimal performance in delivery of the works through planning  to final installation.

    Reporting and management of physical progress and financial status on projects.
    Key Responsibilities
    Manage a team of supervisors day to day managing the Lead Replacement Programme.  Manage programme resources to meet the successful delivery of the project including subcontractors and visiting support.  Liaison with the planning team to ensure efficient planning of resources Ensure Street Works Notices are opened and closed in a timely manner Liaise with Project Manager in relation to performance and reporting Adhere to Network Plus SHEQW requirements. Ensure all documentation is completed and kept up to date. (RAMS, Waste Management, CPP, COSHH, Programme, Street works notices, Comms etc.). Ensure site inductions and ensure toolbox talks are completed effectively. Day to day liaison with Network Plus Delivery Manager, Operations and Client Lead. Weekly reporting requirements  Manage commercial success of project including EW, Instructions and change control. Ensure quality processes and water hygiene requirements are complied with. Plan and manage handover and commissioning of new assets to SWW Operations Arrange and chair weekly meetings
    Experience and Qualifications
    Experience of lead replacement, Customer Pipes, Service Pipes and Internals.     Key Responsibilities
    Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries Work with commercial colleagues to produce the budgets and forecasts for the contracts, monitoring performance against agreed targets and KPI’s Provide accurate and meaningful analysis to the Commercial Finance Manager and sup-porting data to assist with key decision-making at contract level, showing a thorough understanding of the contract, including joint venture arrangements where applicable Be responsible for the production of the contract management accounts and reporting model in line with required deadlines Work collaboratively as a member of the Contract Finance Team to ensure the execution of the strategic and operational objectives that apply to own area of internal reporting responsibility Support Projects as designated, including involvement in joint venture reporting requirements Ensure compliance with all financial controls, processes and regulatory framework, including adherence to joint venture agreements and governance requirements  Proactively own and resolve issues including any business non-compliance through adopting a flexible approach and the creation of innovative solutions, which maintain an acceptable balance between risk, reward, and compliance Proactively identify improvements (through root cause analysis), making recommendations and successfully implementing new ways of working gaining the full support of stakeholders and colleagues alike Maintain consistent communication with commercial teams, build strong working relationships and ensure alignment on financial performance and business objectives Prepare and deliver monthly management accounting packs to commercial teams, presenting key financial insights, variances, and actionable recommendations Ensure the team always provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, including joint venture partners
    Experience and Qualifications
    Qualified/Studying (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)  Accounting experience, ideally in a commercial finance role Intermediate / advanced Excel, Power Point and Word Excellent understanding and working knowledge of accounting and reporting systems, applicable legislation and the statutory and regulatory framework Problem solving and analytical skills A continuous improvement mentality with the ability to challenge existing processes  Awareness of Financial Reporting Standards and other developments within global accounting practices and the ability to apply within the company
