    As a Utilities Planner, you will be the key contact before works for the operational team. You will have full accountability for the planning & Streetworks aspects of all works before they commence on site. You will ensure that all operational teams are able to undertake their work in line with the received push plans and requested dates as well as compliant with NRSWA and ensure that timescales are adhered to minimising any financial impact to the company.
    Key Responsibilities

    We are looking for someone to:

    Take ownership of the workstreams, coordinating the work from receipt, through to job completion Schedule work orders in accordance with SLA’s, whilst optimising travel routes and increasing productivity Identify noticing issues and apply early intervention, to ensure that all information derived from inspections and other sources is correctly handled to ensure correct response from utilities and other promoters of Street Works activity and to minimise challenges to Section 74 invoices and FPNs Maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems, ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated Ensure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner Provide daily and weekly reports as required and to ensure that all service levels and objectives are achieved Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change Ensure that safety issues are reported in line with Company procedures

    Sometimes you’ll be dealing with the emergency services on behalf of our customers, making you part of a team that’s responsible for protecting people’s lives.     It’s a role where no two days are the same, so from installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for our home and business customers, to high rise and gas safety regulation surveys, to fitting cooker safety valves, when we say it’s a varied role, we mean it.

    You MUST have a full valid driver’s licence.

    You will be required to work on a shift pattern rota [averaging 40 hours per week] which will include weekends & unsociable hours.
    Experience and Qualifications
    We are looking for excellent communication skills and the ability to keep calm under pressure. The ideal candidate shall:

    Be able to work in a Dynamic and collaborative work environment. Have a Strong knowledge of gas systems, regulations, and safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
    You must have either a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification to apply. A MET1 qualification would be beneficial but is not essential. As well as experience working within a gas environment, including good knowledge of gas appliances; testing, purging and the commissioning of pipework.

    An understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety.

    You will be a HSEQ Lead in the energy overhead lines sector, familiar with high-risk electrical operations and advise on HSEQ control standards. Effective interaction with Clients, operational teams will be pivotal, ensuring alignment with (HSEQ) objectives, regulations, and standards across all contract activities.


    Key Responsibilities
    Provide assurance to the contract leadership team and Client, that Network Plus and their contract partners are undertaking works in-line with HSEQ contractual and legal requirements and risks are adequately controlled. You will develop a robust monitoring and L1 assurance programme across the contract. Proactively analyse data to identify performance trends and provide early intervention as required. Ensure contract leaders have oversight of robust monitoring against objectives and performance indicators with continual improvement opportunities. Ensure contract HSEQ procedures meet corporate standards and client requirements, incorporates risk controls, and are fully embedded within the contract operations.  Develop and embed HSEQ plans detailing contractual requirements and arrangements to meet corporate HSEQ standards. Plans will be robust and deliver initiatives to meet HSEQ targets and objectives. Ensure contract HSEQ risks are adequately profiled and robust controls identified.  Lead high-potential or high-severity HSEQ incidents, assigning responsibilities to an agreed investigation team. Oversee the completion of incident reports and ensure the closure of remedial actions.  Implement local arrangements within the contract to meet the incident management process to ensure compliance, enhance existing resources and tools, and establish effective weekly monitoring and escalations. You will ensure minimum HSEQ training and competency requirements are set and assure the contract achieves compliance. Lead and develop a HSEQ team, offering guidance, support and coaching as needed to advance their professional development and enhance their skills. Establish robust criteria to ensure effective contractor and supplier control for the contract. Lead in the development and delivery of monthly briefings and campaigns.  Approve all safety content for HSEQ communications on the contract including reports, training, stand downs, safety alerts and toolbox talks produced by the local Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Advisors. You will assist with accreditations and provide support where required, with standards, including but not limited to ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001, Achillies etc. Define HSEQ reporting and governance requirements within the HSEQ plan and ensure monitoring and adherence to this. Assist in the mobilisation of new contracts by providing the mobilisation team with comprehensive planning arrangements to identify and embed all HSEQ requirements to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation.     Experience and Qualifications

    Description
    As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the Commercial Manager; helping to drive efficiencies; managing costs and regional performance for our clients. This role will see you take control of all financial aspects of the project; overseeing all commercial & contractual matters. 

    You will lead the accounting process, ensuring all project expenditures align with the Schedule of Cost Components. You will be accountable for maximizing performance by managing the Target Price and identifying efficiencies to improve the Pain/Gain share.

    You will deliver the desired margin return utilising high standards of commercial acumen. Whilst identifying, recording and tracking, both risks and opportunities.
    Key Responsibilities
    We are looking for someone to:

    Manage and monitor project costs including weekly P&L reporting Review contract documents and advise on any issues Track the progress and cash flow forecast information Produce and review commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and Project Finance Reports Proactively identify and mitigate risks of Disallowed Cost (e.g., ensuring timely Early Warnings, maintaining robust records, and following agreed procurement procedures). Take responsibility for Subcontract Management; including Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders and Negotiating Subcontract terms Prepare subcontract documents, enquiries and assessment of quotations Place subcontract orders, agreement and certification of subcontract valuations, invoice, subcontract payments and final account agreements Be responsible for the management of the change control process, risk and value management Manage and track project changes, variations and/or notices Assess and value variations and compensation events Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accounts Attend risk review, progress and commercial meetings on-site with the Client Be actively involved with tenders and pricing Assist Credit Control with cash recovery and forecasting Support the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects
    Experience and Qualifications
    Degree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) is desirable but not essential Ideally you will have experience working in the Utilities industry   Proven ability to manage Compensation Events and Early Warnings within a fast-paced utilities or infrastructure environment. Direct experience with NEC3 or NEC4 Option C is desirable but not essential Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures Excellent communication skills  High attention to detail  Logical mind
