This role is based from our SSE contract office in Hermitage, Berkshire.

Experience and Qualifications
Have a minimum of 2 years' arboriculture experience Hold UA1, 2.1 and UA5 Any additional competencies would be an advantage

As a HSEQ Compliance Auditor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Team with responsibility for one of our contracts reporting to the contract's HSEQ Lead. You will be responsible for promoting compliance throughout the business and for escalating all issues identified. You will also be responsible for ensuring employees are made aware of issues raised and for promoting document control and system compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Review risk assessments, conduct site audits to ensure safety policies and procedures are being followed across the contract's sites. Coach and provide support and guidance to staff on HSEQ policy, procedures and safe systems of work. Generate detailed reports summarising audit findings, compliance levels, and identified risks or areas of concern, as well as recommendations Liaise with external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies, addressing any non-conformities Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing health and safety performance and best practise Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure a proactive ap-proach to HSEQ across all levels. Provide support and advice to the leadership team on HSEQ matters, ensuring continuous alignment with business objectives and legal compliance. Provide weekly HSEQ compliance reporting to the contract, identifying trends, Key perfor-mance indicators, Incident rates, non-compliance issues and actions. Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, including CDM Regulations, Permit to Work systems, and other industry-specific requirements. Monitor non-conformances and escalate areas of potential impact. Support in the provision of comprehensive contract and management reports

As an Estimator, you will work as part of the bid team in the preparation of pricing and the management of costing. This role will see you take control of all precontract costs of the project. You will deliver desired estimates utilising high standards of commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to: Assist in the preparation of pricing inquiries as part of the bid process and review subsequent quotations Obtain cost estimates for the entire project /proposal, including the costs of labour, equipment materials, subcontracts, overhead, insurance, mark up and any other costs that may affect the project Price and monitor project cost estimates, taking delivery of contract documentation and review for completeness You will produce and review estimates and contractual risk documentation and support in the preparation of documentation for submission to the client Manage and track any changes and variations throughout the tender process Obtain the best value sub-contract services for tenders and maintain a subcontractor approved list Perform Post Audit Reviews of Bids lost and actual performance of awarded projects. Review all estimating systems on an on-going basis to ensure that efficiency of the department is maximized Assist with any other ad hoc tenders and pricing

Description
As a Fleet Controller, you will be part of an established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet for the company. You will take a lead in controlling the day to day servicing, defects & breakdowns of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
You will liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLA’s You will handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts You will ensure SLA’s are achieved with minimum downtime You will investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries You will update fleet management systems You will assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Problem solving abilities Excellent Customer Service Skills Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry Excellent planning, organization and time management skills Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular)
