     As a Gas Designer you will play a key role in the design process, from site surveys through to the production of detailed drawings, while developing your technical expertise and working closely with experienced engineers and project teams.
    Key Responsibilities
    Monitor leading industry practices, recommend new design approaches, and identify upcoming trends. Travel across to sites across the UK may be required for tender events and in progress design reviews.

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
    Engineering qualifications desirable however good experience would be considered.  Experience of working on intermediate pressure and high pressure gas mains  Experience of working in the gas industry on designing high-profile projects Understanding and knowledge of relevant Engineering specifications that apply to the gas industry (IGEM standards) Knowledge and Awareness of CDM 2015 Proficient user of AutoCAD Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work as part of a team and to organise your workload across multiple projects Willingness to mentor and support less experienced colleagues

    Key Responsibilities
    Monitor leading industry practices, recommend new design approaches, and identify upcoming trends. Develop high-quality concepts, working with team on iterations and design, actively seek feedback from Creative and Business stakeholders Working on all design phases of projects, including project set-up, programming, design, and CDM documentation Requesting & reviewing STAT plans Providing technical design support to other members of the design team.     As a Site Manager, you will manage the Operational Teams in the successful delivery of the ENW Excavate and Lay contract in the North West. The Site Manager will provide supervision to those teams under their jurisdiction, from project handover through to project completion in an effective and efficient manner. Success will be measured against our 3 imperatives: HSEQ performance, programme delivery and outstanding customer satisfaction. 


    Key Responsibilities
    We are looking for someone to: 

    Supervise the delivery teams during the works including site set up, excavation, backfill and reinstatement and site completion.  Attend all sites to disseminate the Construction Phase Plan information, including all RAMS, with regards setting up of the site and to brief the team leader on their responsibilities to ensure that the works carried out on the Network comply with the relevant statutory requirements (CDM) and ENW standards and procedures.  Supervise the opening and closing of street works permits in accordance with NRSWA including the management of agreed Traffic Management and Permit Conditions.  Ensure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner.  Complete and record daily measures of works complete to submit for weekly payments.   Carry out tool box talks to all site personnel and record.  Liaison with Traffic Management department and local authorities to pre plan works to minimise disruption.  Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change.  Promote the BE:SAFE culture and ensure that any safety issues are reported in line with company procedures. 
    Experience and Qualifications
    SHEA (Power)  NRSWA 1991 (Supervisor)  EFAW  IOSH or SMSTS (preferred)  Trench Support/Deep Excavation (preferred)
