Oversee quality assurance, clinical effectiveness, and systematic outcome measurement, utilizing data to inform decision-making and drive innovation. Maintain oversight of risk management and safeguarding practices, escalating concerns as appropriate to senior governance forums.​ Workforce and Culture Support and develop the Principal Therapists and Senior High Intensity Therapists through regular supervision, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. You will be working in an MDT providing specialist Occupational Therapy skills, as well as holding a small generic caseload. The team delivers both 1:1 and groupwork interventions and you will be a large part of that programme. The aim of our service is to respond earlier to children and young people’s needs in order to help prevent, reduce or delay the need for more specialist interventions. This transformation of children and young people’s mental health services has a clinical focus, integrated with local authorities to deliver a long term collaborative approach to planning and delivering services.  CYPMHS focuses on emotional wellbeing as well as mental health and includes access to self-help tools and services based in schools and the community. The CAMHS Tier II and Tier III service no longer exist, replaced with an integrated CYPMHS. Training and support is available to other professionals and agencies. We are creating a modern service that fits with children’s lives in a way that best suits them. Key new features include a Children’s Single Point of Access (SPA) into the service, clear early signposting, and use of digital channels such as Big White Wall to access support and services. The locality team have care pathways. Each care pathway is clinically led, with care pathway leads operationally managing all YPWS practitioners working in that care pathway. With the support of the team manager, care pathway leads are responsible for assessment, treatment and systematic outcome measurement in that care pathway.  Care pathway leads and practitioners ensure that a high quality, timely, accessible and evidence-based service is available to all children and young people who need it. Brookside has been recognised across London and Nationally for a high quality service, CQC rated "outstanding" practice, Quality Network for Inpatient CAMHS (QNIC) Accreditation as well as winning the 'Mental Health Practice' category at the 2018 RCNi awards. Providing both an innovative home treatment team and a 15 bedded acute ward for children and young people, it’s a lead service which provides treatment and prevention support within NELFT London catchment area and inpatient care nationally. Main duties of the job The successful candidates will work with young people aged between 12-18 years, their families and carers, with acute emotional, psychological and behavioural difficulties. There is scope within the job role to take part in formalised therapeutic contact with young people and carers. This will enhance the applicant’s future career planning and or academic endeavours. The successful candidates will form part of multi-disciplinary team offering inpatient and Home Treatment Team care through intensive multi-disciplinary interventions and a structured daily programme with a central educational basis. We are looking for candidates who have enthusiasm and passion for meeting the needs of acutely unwell young people, as well as being adaptable, enjoy variety, can work independently, as well as understanding the relevance of team working. The main responsibilities of the post: -To complete 5 days of Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course which is yearly updated and implement in practice as required. -To work shifts over a 365 day a year basis including night duty -To undertake assessment of client’s needs and support qualified nurses in formulating appropriate individual care plans taking on a holistic approach. - Ensure that relatives and carers of service user and feel able to communicate effectively with the clinical area to answer any queries or concerns.
