Assembling furniture that has been pre-machined in the machine shop. The process includes three stages:
1. Preparation
– Inserting cams and dowels into the correct components.2. Building
– Assembling wardrobes, desks, lockers, beds and other units in a carcass-style build, similar to kitchen cabinetry.3. Second Fix
– Fitting doors, drawers, hinges, runners, locks and additional hardware to complete each unit to a high standard.Our client is looking for the following individual:
Has experience in kitchen fitting, cabinetmaking, or similar tradesCan work confidently from paperwork, drawings and measurementsAre competent with a tape measure and other measuring toolsCan lift and handle panels daily (some heavy lifting parts) must be physically fit.Can work efficiently under tight deadlinesAre versatile, multitasking across multiple stationsBring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm.
Rate of Pay:
£12.21 per hour.
