Who we're looking for: We are looking for a Construction Lead for Data Centres. At Multiplex, the Construction Lead is a senior, site‑based leadership role responsible for the coordination and oversight of all construction delivery and site logistics. Reporting directly to the Project Director, the Construction Lead provides day‑to‑day direction to site‑based teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. What is the overall job? The Construction Lead plays a central role in driving safe and effective on‑site delivery, taking responsibility for coordinating construction operations, managing site teams and ensuring all works are carried out to the expected standards of quality and compliance. A key figure in daily site management, the Construction Lead upholds Multiplex's safety culture, ensuring that all activities follow established SHEQ procedures, safe work methods and the project's safety plan. They work closely with planning, design and commercial colleagues to maintain programme performance, resolve issues promptly and support smooth project progression. In addition to leading site personnel—including Section Managers, Engineers, MEP teams, logistics and health & safety staff—the role strengthens collaboration with consultants, subcontractors and the wider delivery team to maintain clear communication and consistency across the project. Other responsibilities in the project-based role plays include: * Maintaining a strong and visible focus on safety, ensuring strict compliance with all SHEQ policies, Safe Work Method Procedures and site‑specific safety initiatives. * Supervising and coordinating daily activities of construction and site management staff to align with programme requirements. * Monitoring construction progress, identifying risks to time, quality or safety, and providing timely updates to the Project Director. * Working with Consultants and the Design Manager to resolve information or design issues affecting site operations. * Support bid submissions for construction logistics and methodology and present the solution at mid and post tender interviews. * Overseeing site-wide logistics planning, including access, movement, storage and coordination with the Logistics Manager/s * Co‑chairing monthly HS&E meetings to drive accountability and reinforce Multiplex's safety expectations. * Supporting procurement through input on subcontract scopes, attendances and selection, and resolving subcontract performance issues where necessary. What do you need to be successful in this role? * Experience working on Data Centres, ideally involving hyperscale tenants. * Team leadership qualities * Experience working on live, technically challenging construction projects * Educated to degree level or equivalent. Who we're looking for: We are looking for a Commercial Lead for Data Centres. At Multiplex the Commercial Lead is responsible for the commercial administration, performance and reporting of all commercial aspects of the project, including management of the Commercial Team. The CL reports directly to the Project Director and the role is for the most part site based, with occasional travel to head office. What is the overall job? The Commercial Lead is accountable for the commercial administration, performance and governance of the project, ensuring all commercial activities are delivered accurately, compliantly and in alignment with Multiplex processes. The role is responsible for overseeing budget, cost control, procurement, contract administration and reporting, while building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider Project Leadership Team. The Commercial Lead also leads, manages and develops the commercial team to ensure high performance and consistency across all commercial functions. Other responsibilities in the project-based role include: * Critically monitoring the commercial performance of all packages, identifying risks and opportunities, and determining strategies and actions to mitigate commercial risk and optimise project profitability. * Delivering accurate commercial reporting, including EPAC, cashflow, margin forecasts, project cost reporting and commercial risk/opportunity registers * Managing project change through robust commercial change control protocols, ensuring all variations and entitlements are administered correctly and within contractual timeframes. * Overseeing and governing the procurement process to ensure compliance with internal controls, timely tendering activities, accurate tender evaluations and the achievement of forecast letting gains. * Supporting bid submissions and participating in tender reviews where required, providing commercial insight into pricing, risk allocation and supply chain strategy. * Assisting in the tendering, negotiation and appointment of subcontractors, ensuring scope clarity, commercial compliance and alignment to project budget and programme requirements. * Providing commercial support to the project team and Package Managers, resolving commercial queries, ensuring compliance with subcontractor obligations, and supporting the achievement of timely final accounts. We are currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineers. The role will be based at Peterborough City Hospital. Peterborough City Hospital is now regarded as the City's most significant building project since the cathedral was built in 1238. The healthcare campus features: a 612-bed, 22-theatre Major Acute Hospital; a 98-bed Mental Health Unit; a 39-bed City Care Centre; a multi storey car park; helicopter pad; hard and soft landscaping and highway works.  The role involves maintaining a broad range of building services and systems across Peterborough City Hospital, including electrical, mechanical, fabric, BMS, nurse call, fire alarms, boilers, pressure systems, water‑based systems, and other specialist systems. As an Appointed Person, the engineer may take on duties such as Authorised Person, Responsible Person, Competent Person, Lift Release Warden, Fire Warden, or Fire Door Inspector, and will also perform responsibilities as a Competent Person in line with the job role and direction from the line manager. Working as a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer, the role requires sharing technical knowledge with other trades, supporting cooperation and flexibility within the team, and liaising with hospital departments when necessary. The engineer must follow management systems and work order processes to help ensure all contractual KPIs are met, while also working with contractors, issuing Permits to Work, and supporting statutory inspections to ensure systems comply with Trust safety standards. The role includes diagnosing and resolving complex faults across hospital buildings, working independently where required, and supporting colleagues to meet response times and service delivery expectations. Additionally, the engineer is expected to maintain their professional development, promote equality and respect in the workplace, comply with GDPR requirements, undertake any duties requested by management, and work additional hours when needed to support operational demands.
