Who we're looking for: Our people are united by a common belief: that we can outperform in everything we do. We are currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineers. The role will be based at Peterborough City Hospital. Peterborough City Hospital is now regarded as the City's most significant building project since the cathedral was built in 1238. The healthcare campus features: a 612-bed, 22-theatre Major Acute Hospital; a 98-bed Mental Health Unit; a 39-bed City Care Centre; a multi storey car park; helicopter pad; hard and soft landscaping and highway works. The role involves maintaining a broad range of building services and systems across Peterborough City Hospital, including electrical, mechanical, fabric, BMS, nurse call, fire alarms, boilers, pressure systems, water‑based systems, and other specialist systems. As an Appointed Person, the engineer may take on duties such as Authorised Person, Responsible Person, Competent Person, Lift Release Warden, Fire Warden, or Fire Door Inspector, and will also perform responsibilities as a Competent Person in line with the job role and direction from the line manager. Working as a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer, the role requires sharing technical knowledge with other trades, supporting cooperation and flexibility within the team, and liaising with hospital departments when necessary. The engineer must follow management systems and work order processes to help ensure all contractual KPIs are met, while also working with contractors, issuing Permits to Work, and supporting statutory inspections to ensure systems comply with Trust safety standards. The role includes diagnosing and resolving complex faults across hospital buildings, working independently where required, and supporting colleagues to meet response times and service delivery expectations. Additionally, the engineer is expected to maintain their professional development, promote equality and respect in the workplace, comply with GDPR requirements, undertake any duties requested by management, and work additional hours when needed to support operational demands. What do I need to be successful in this role? * Experience in electrical, mechanical, fabric services. * Proficient in PC use, including MS office applications (Word, Excel, email). * Ability to motivate and mentor team members to reach their full potential. * Able to carry out in depth fault finding on complex electrical and mechanical systems * Flexibility to work the hours that support the needs of the client. We are now looking for an IT Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our Global IT team, the role will be based at our UK Head Office. The IT Risk and Compliance Analyst will support the compliance and security of Multiplex's IT systems by helping assess IT risks, maintain controls, and ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulations such as SOX, ISO 27001 and GDPR. The role involves assisting with IT audits, gathering evidence, monitoring control effectiveness, and contributing to improvements across access management, change processes and data protection. You will help complete risk assessments, review third‑party vendor security, and support IT General Controls testing for financial reporting. Working closely with IT teams, leadership and external auditors, you'll build strong relationships, contribute to security awareness across the business, and help ensure our systems remain secure, resilient and compliant with industry standards. The role will suit someone who is detail‑oriented, organised, and confident communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, with knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, along with experience supporting audits, compliance assessments and reporting. You will need to be confident in identifying risks and vulnerabilities in IT systems, reviewing third‑party security information such as SOC reports, and managing multiple tasks with accuracy. You will work well both independently and collaboratively, and stay proactive in keeping your knowledge up to date as security threats, technologies and best practices evolve. Responsible to manage and lead Multiplex (BM) Mechanical and Electrical (M & E) team or major trade package on site. Produce scope of works for M & E subcontractor tendering. Maintain close liaison with our onsite construction team ensuring the delivery and monitoring of the works by the sub-contractor and their specialists. Assist with developing commissioning strategy, program and close liaison with commissioning managers and technical authors in the setting to work of the systems and preparation of the O&M manuals and technical documentation for the end user. What do I need to be successful in this role? You will need to have experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Other key skill and experience are: Mechanically biased Preferably qualified with a degree in building services, or mechanical engineering, will consider relevant HNC or HND qualifications. Will need to be able to understand building services including design principles, construction techniques, commissioning, and handover requirements. Will need to be able to communicate and cooperate with subcontractors, consultants, and other team members to work as cohesive team. The Keystone will be the fifth major building constructed by Multiplex as part of The University of Glasgow's £1.8 billion Campus Development Programme, significantly extending the Gilmorehill campus. The Keystone will span an impressive 290,000 sq. ft over 5-storeys and a 2-storey basement, making it the second largest building on campus.  The Building Services Package Manager (ELVS) will be responsible for producing design reviews, method and time related information required for tenders, management of construction, completion, and post construction obligations.
