The Job Youll Do:
Manage and maintain the customer returns process, including logging, tracking, investigation coordination, and reporting
Control and disposition non-conforming / reject material in line with company procedures
Ensure traceability and accurate records for all quality-related activities
Support shopfloor quality activities and liaise with production teams
Support 8D investigations, primarily through implementing and managing containment actions & data collection and evidence gathering
Assist in using structured problem-solving tools to identify root cause analysis and corrective actions
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes
Create, update, and review manufacturing instructions / work instructions
Ensure documentation is clear, controlled, and aligned with current processes
Support implementation of standardised processes and best practices
Support the calibration system, including: Tracking calibration status of equipment, coordinating internal/external calibration activities
Provide general quality support across inspection, testing, and process validation activities where required
About You:
Previous experience in a Quality Technician or similar role within engineering/manufacturing
Good IT / office skills (Excel, Word, data entry, reporting)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Understanding of technical drawings, BOMs, or assembly documentation
Exposure to quality tools (8D, root cause analysis, basic SPC)
Knowledge of ISO 9001
