    About the RoleMake a difference where it matters mostAt Mountain Healthcare we provide specialist healthcare and forensic services to some of the most vulnerable people in society. Our dedicated teams deliver expert medical care, forensic examinations and compassionate support to individuals who have experienced sexual assault or abuse, ensuring dignity, safety and the highest standards of care.We are looking for a detail-driven, organised and compassionate individual to join our Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) as an Adult & Paediatric Administrator / Crisis Worker. This is primarily an administrative role, keeping our service running smoothly behind the scenes while also providing vital support to patients and families during sensitive moments. You will handle records, coordinate appointments, manage calls and liaise with partner agencies, all while protecting confidentiality and demonstrating empathy. You will also be trained to assist during patient visits, helping them feel informed, reassured and supported.
    Job Opportunity• Manage patient records and administrative processes in line with data protection and safeguarding standards• Handle incoming calls, emails and referrals with professionalism and empathy• Coordinate appointments and liaise with police, medical staff and partner agencies• Order and manage stock and equipment to ensure smooth service delivery• Support ISO 15189 and UKAS accreditation processes through accurate record keeping• Provide a welcoming environment for patients and families, assisting clinicians during examinations when requiredYou will join a supportive, highly skilled team where no two days are the same. We offer full training including safeguarding, basic life support and specialist forensic awareness, plus ongoing development opportunities. This is a 24/7 service with on-call responsibilities requiring arrival at the SARC or designated site within agreed timeframes. Flexible working, including part-time and job share will be considered. Shift Hours - 8 hours. 1am-9am, 9am-5pm and 5pm - 1am.
    Essential SkillsEssential• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent• Minimum 12 months’ experience in an administrative role• Knowledge of the health, police or public sector environment• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a multi-agency setting• Good interpersonal skills• IT literate with experience using Word, Excel and Teams• Understanding of safeguardingDesirable• Educated to A Level or NVQ 3• Experience working with children or young people, either directly or with partner services

    Job OpportunityKey Responsibilities will include: Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.Develop Forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.Actively working in partnership with external MDTs and Police.1st point of contact for victims, Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways.Manage and promote the self- referral pathway.Undertaking holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.Producing individual management plans.Supporting the continued quality improvement of the service.Working under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.Obtaining consent for Health and Forensic procedures. 
    Essential SkillsEssential Skills Required:Qualified Registered Nurse, Midwife, Paramedic.A minimum of 3 years + relevant post qualification experience.Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults.Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.Phlebotomy skills.Experience of autonomous working. Because of the nature of the Sexual Offence Examiner, applications are invited from females only. This post has a genuine occupational qualification under the Sex Discrimination Act, Section 7(2)b and 7(2)e.Whilst the position may be based from one location, additional travel may be a requirement of the role across SARC's, therefore a UK driving license is required for this role and access to a vehicle. Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting will be required.

    Job OpportunityKey Responsibilities will include: Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.Develop Forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.Actively working in partnership with external MDTs and Police.1st point of contact for victims, Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways.Manage and promote the self- referral pathway.Undertaking holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.Producing individual management plans.Supporting the continued quality improvement of the service.Working under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.Obtaining consent for Health and Forensic procedures. 
    Essential SkillsEssential Skills Required:Qualified Registered Nurse, Midwife, Paramedic.A minimum of 3 years + relevant post qualification experience.Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults.Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.Phlebotomy skills.Experience of autonomous working. Because of the nature of the Sexual Offence Examiner, applications are invited from females only. This post has a genuine occupational qualification under the Sex Discrimination Act, Section 7(2)b and 7(2)e.Whilst the position may be based from one location, additional travel may be a requirement of the role across SARC's, therefore a UK driving license is required for this role and access to a vehicle. Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting will be required.
