    As Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for: 

    Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and vision to guide the engineering and quality teams in developing cutting-edge, innovative solutions and products.  Horizon-scan for future technologies and engineering best practices, ensuring these are appropriately embedded in MO. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to align engineering efforts with business and strategic objectives. Technical Delivery: Oversee the technical delivery of projects within MO, bringing together devops, build and testing in projects.     About The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a logical individual who enjoys problem solving. The role provides a breadth of experience of both analytical and operational processes where you will be responsible for providing a broad range of analysis, including regular and ad-hoc reporting.  You will join a team of Insight Analysts to support the Mobility Services Insight function in the expansion of our analytical capabilities. This role reports into the Insight & Reporting Manager. Context The Mobility Services Insight team are responsible for providing accurate, reliable, timely high-quality information and insights that are actionable. Analysis plays a key role within the team, working with internal and third-party stakeholders to identify trends and patterns and understanding the drivers for customer & dealer interactions. This insight is then used to maximise commercial return and help optimise processes and operational delivery. Key accountabilities Influence key business decisions with accurate, reliable, and timely analysis alongside regular and ad-hoc reporting. Work closely with internal and third-party stakeholders to deliver analysis that improves business performance and operational processes. Work as a key part of the Mobility Services Insight team, supporting dependencies within the team and for other departments across Motability Operations. About You You should be comfortable working with numbers, enjoy problem solving, confident to challenge the status quo using strong communication skills. No previous Insight or Analytics experience is required as we will teach you the tools you need for the role, but experience in Microsoft Office applications including Excel will be useful. You need to be a strong team player who is able to support their colleagues at all times regardless of workload and demands. We value individuals who are self-starters and highly motivated, who can communicate clearly and contribute to all the team’s deliverables. Minimum Requirements  Currently in your 2nd year and on track achieve a 2:1 or better in a subject which includes Maths/Statistics Able to travel to the Bristol Office 3 days a week Good written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail Programming language (Python/R) experience is desirable.
