This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a commercial, customer-focused role without the pressure of cold calling. You'll be responsible for managing inbound customer enquiries, processing orders, preparing quotations and identifying opportunities to introduce additional products and services where appropriate. The Role Managing incoming customer enquiries via phone and email Producing quotations and processing customer orders Building strong relationships with customers and distributors Providing regular updates on order status and delivery times Supporting the external sales team with customer activity and account information Liaising with internal departments including manufacturing, warehouse and finance Identifying opportunities to upsell complementary products and services Monitoring pricing, margins and customer requirements Delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout the sales process What We're Looking For Previous experience in Internal Sales, Sales Support, Account Management, or a similar commercial role Strong communication and relationship-building skills Good commercial awareness and attention to detail Confident working with numbers and pricing information Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities A proactive approach and desire to provide excellent customer service Full UK driving licence and access to transport No industry experience is required. Candidates from a wide range of sectors will be considered, provided they have strong customer-facing commercial experience. This is a (renewable) contract position - inside IR35. Overview: As a Field Engineer focused on welding and NDT activities, you will oversee critical quality assurance tasks, ensuring construction activities align with contractual and safety requirements. ? ? You will Identify and mitigate potential quality issues, supporting on-time project delivery. Principal accountabilities Submit and document non-conformance reports as needed. Review and monitor Quality Control Plans and Inspection Records. Evaluate contractor performance and adherence to standards.
