Business Development Manager We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Business Development Manager for the WP Group. Remote Based and reporting to the General Manager. Your opportunity The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be focused on strategic, profitable growth of our commercial sales business as well as maintaining senior level relationships within our key customer base. The BDM will target long-term commercial opportunities that can generate both volume and GM growth within our key market sectors, driving new customer acquisition and continuing to develop our commercial offer in both standard fuels, sustainable solutions, fuel management and fuel services. This BDM will be a highly capable, experienced commercial professional with extensive sales, account management and business development skill. This role is a senior sales role within our business and key to our business expansion and continued growth.. Responsibilities Business Development Development and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy within key sectors Development of our offer including alternative fuels, fuel cards and additional services New business opportunity delivery, particularly larger more complex commercial opportunities and tenders Sales pipeline development Key Account Management & Growth Identify new products, services, and technology opportunities Build and develop strong commercial relationships with key account customers Contract delivery and management For strategic new business acquisitions, maximise commercial opportunities by developing mutually beneficial business partnerships Deliver improvements and efficiencies through close commercial management Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and conditions Lead and manage regular contract reviews and governance meetings with new business acquisitions Skills required Proven track record in business development or strategic sales within the fuels, lubricants or energy sector Strong commercial acumen with experience in high-value contract negotiation Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills at all levels Self-motivated, results-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Analytical mindset with experience using CRM tools (e.g Salesforce) to manage pipelines and performance Full driving licence and willingness to travel across regions What we offer you Competitive salary 25 Days holiday (plus bank holidays) Annual Bonus Life Assurance 4x basic salary Contributory Pension (Up to 7% Company contributions) Employee Perks portal, GP helpline and assistance programmes Enhanced parental leave Company events Interested in joining us and being part of a global organisation who truly value their employees, encourage development and progression?
