  Our client, a thriving and award-winninglegal company in Basingstoke are seeking an experienced Solicitor inResidential Property to join their incredibly busy Residential Property team. As an experienced Residential PropertySolicitor, you should have been qualified for a minimum of three years and haveexperience in dealing with lease extensions and high value, complex propertytransactions, providing expert legal advice and assistance to their clientsthroughout their conveyancing journey. Atrue ambassador, helping maintain their reputation for excellence and generatenew business for the team.

  Specific Duties andResponsibilities include:

  • Running the full conveyancing process, taking aproperty from instruction to completion.
  • Responsible for managing own caseload.
  • Assisting with own registrations whenpost-completions team are out of the office.
  • Business development; networking and introducingnew clients and relevant third parties to Phillips.
  • Upholding compliance regulations in line with ourpolicies and procedures.
  • Maintaining CQS standards.

  Skills, Qualification andExperience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience post-qualificationin Residential Property. Previous experience with lease extensions wouldbe advantageous.
  • Experience of managing a small team of LegalSecretaries / Administrators desirable, but not essential.
  • Highly efficient and self-motivated with strongadministrative skills and the ability to delegate judiciously.
  • Client focused and empathetic, with strongcommunication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Confident with the use of Microsoft Office package(especially Outlook, Word and ideally Excel) and Case Management Systems.Prior experience of LEAP advantageous, but not essential.
  • Previous digital dictation experience.
  • The ability to remain courteous and friendly evenwhen under pressure.
  • Flexible and a team-player.

  Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor with over 3 years' PQE specialising in property litigation..
  • Proven track record advising corporate clientsincluding developers, PLCs, and financial institutionson complex dispute matters
  • In-depth expertise in commercial property disputes and adept at managing alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation and arbitration
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, combining a proactive mindset with meticulous caseload management.
